As much as I look at the pictures of the dogs in the pics on the sites where you can buy these dry bags, I think I need a "real life" picture :j(ie not taken with model / stunt dog!) please! Are they easy to get on??
I still think training to shake on command would be pretty cool though, I wish I has still had a dog to try it out on!!!!
YDSMI wish I would take my own advice!0 -

Yes you have. You referred to me as someone who obviously has a mucky house.Lifeisbutadream wrote: »Have I been abusive to you?0 -

Do we need a referee?
FWIW I'm houseproud with animals, but I AM always chasing around bits of hair and mud and try very hard to keep them to a minimum.
This year we have had to have a feral cat inside and I've found it both rewarding spending time with the feral and depressing having so many litter boxes and so many ''mistakes'' (not least because she has kidney and bowel problems so I'm clearing up A LOT and when she doesn't make a mistake the smell is still an issue). Becasue I've had a challenge with an animal to ''housekeeping'' doesn't mean I haven't tried to tackle it! And just because I'm house proud doesn't mean I can always keep it up!0 -
No. Read properly and you will find I said you can't be TOO houseproud if you have a dog. I didn't say you can't have a CLEAN house. You did say your dog shakes hairs and water everywhere when indoors and that he urinates on your wooden floors indoors too. I don't remember saying YOU had a dirty and/or mucky house, but for whatever reason you think it's fine to direct such abuse at me.Lifeisbutadream wrote: »Well if you dont have a mucky house, you wont feel abused?:)
You're the one who said that you cant have a clean house if you have a dog!0 -

I'm the same. I have several dogs and a clean house most of the time.
A dog with a behaviour problem needs help not punishment.0 -

LOL,
I swore at this thread as just a short while after posting here, feral, sitting on my knee, and a burst of incontinence
DH and I swung into immediate action quietly so as not to make feral feel bad but getting her cleaned up and cleaning the sitting room (and being grateful that DH had made me put a towel folded underneath her just in case).
That's how it is: you can't resign to filth and squalor but you do your best to prevent it, you utmost to minimise it and then erradicate it once it appears.
Sitting room is fragrant, cat has had a clean and is finishing drying up by the fire and noone coming in now would know what just happened...thank goodness!0
