Couple of questions about my dog..

Update:
The bags are BRILLIANT!!!!
Went out for walk today - he went in the river and then ran through a mud bath, he was soaked and filthy when we got home!
The hose pipe was frozen, so I couldnt even wash him down, but I put him inside his bag and carried him to his cage, left him in there for an hour (he had a lovely snooze) - when he woke up I rubbed him in the bag then took it off, he emerged all sparkly clean! the bag was full of dried mud and hair, which I shook outside then washed!
SoI HIGHLY recomend it for mad wet dogs like mine!!0 -
Just realised that looks a bit weird !! putting him in a bag then in a cage! he was quite happy I promise!0

No you can't. Not unless it's in your dreamsLifeisbutadream wrote: »I appreciate that but if there is a way of preventing it then I will do it.
You can still be houseproud and have a dog

Why do some people have to spoil threads. Just because you have a dog/s doesn't mean that you have to live in a pigsty or be happy if your furniture gets wet. When our dog/foster dogs get wet after a walk or trot in the garden I always towel them and use a hair dryer as much as possible, put them in their crate and cover with a large towel because the towel gets most of the water when the dogs shake. I may get one of those wet bags, can they walk in them?

LOL I thought of putting some leg holes in one!
I agree - I know plenty of people who still have lovely homes and have a dog, including myself. I also know plenty of people whos houses smell like battersea dogs home on a wet weekend, but I will never ever be one of those people!
I do not see why I should allow the dog to trail mud and hair all over the house - the kids dont do that so why should he?
My dog is only allowed in the hard floor areas of the house - he doesnt go upstairs or in the front room - he knows where he is allowed to go and is perfectly happy.
AGain though - the bags are great! I might get some for the kids as wel!!:D0 -
I wouldn't worry about it, you will always get criticism no matter what the subject especially on forums, it's human nature i'm afraid

It's not an excuse. When you have a dog you have dog hair in the house. You can chase round forever removing it, but there will always be dog hair.Lifeisbutadream wrote: »Dont worry I dont see it as a critisism, just someone who obviously has a mucky house and likes to have an excuse!0 -
