Hey,
Well today I completely forgot I had a cousins birthday coming up on Thurs. Luckily my mum mentioned it to me this morning so I went out and bought a card and some scratch cards. Cost me £6.65 in total which I dont mind but I have really left myself short this month. I've paid all my payments out and it has left me with a nil balance in my account! I have a large overdraft available but I really really dont want to use this however I dont see any way round it as its only the 1st today
My car is filled up and shopping money has been put into joint account for the month so I'm fine for the essentials but I hate not having a bit of pocket money available. My boss's birthday is coming up aswell and we usually all put money together and buy him something so thats more money. Think I will transfer £20-£30 out my overdraft into my piggyback account and try and get by with this.
On the positive side I think I have managed to pick up some more work. Its only a one off but I'll hopefully make about £80-£100 out of it SO if I can get this organised a.s.a.p I'll be able to pay back the overdraft plus a bit more to my next account. Fingers are crossed

Hi hun
Haven't been around properly for a while so just catching up - how you doing? Has the tax arrived? You whave it taxed from the moment your payment was processed as if they checked on their computers it'd say processed but they wouldn't know if was posted or not so you are fine. Hopefully it'll have arrived today - I have done the same thing many times - not to worry
)
How's everything going this month since payday - I see you say nil balance but chin up as it won't be like this every month - it's amazing how little we can get by on if we choose to.
It will all be worth if when DF and have every penny to self after bills!

Hiya,
Thanks for that. It gave me a boost to stop moaning about how little I have left this month! I managed to get a wee bit extra from my Sunday job this week and think it may be the same this sunday so all good
Nothing has really been happening since payday! All my payments have now come out the bank so its roll on next payday. I have calculated that if I stay on track this month then next month I will be £12 off from going below £24k SO this is my new mission. Find an extra £12 at least. This may or may not be easy!!! :rotfl:
Car tax arrived :T so everythin is back to normal again on the car side.
Why is it so hard to lose weight and pay off debts at the same time :rotfl: I feel like I can only do one or the other. :cool:LBM - JUNE 2010 - [STRIKE]£27,108[/STRIKE] £23,682 (as at 1st Apr 11)

LOL - I know that one re one or other

Although since I am concious of what we will be eating as planning ahead I am trying to incorporate healthy eating into it more as I have time to think it through.
That's fab to be going sub 24k if you find another £12 which I am sure you will somehow - raid your coats in the wardrobe and old purses or bags lol.
When's your pay day?

Only 11 days to go till payday :j I have managed to do quite well in not spending any extra but I was bad and treated myself to a chicken supper tonight  (really enjoyed it though!!)
I do my second job tomorrow so if all goes well that will be an extra £25-£30 to go towards my Next account. Its not coming down as quickly as I would like but really need to be more patient. I see ebay has a free listing weekend so thats good news.
Also planning to do weekly shop at some point tomorrow so will get in my work lunches for the whole week so I dont have temptation to go to the shop.
Off to watch Sat night tv.

Morning hun
How's things for a fine and dandy Monday morning?
The extra stars are for more posts I think so when we're DF we'll have loads
in a good way! lol.
I am just about to look at my accounts after a bit of an overspend of £20 on Saturday on unplanned groceries - that's so annoying as when i don't plan it costs me and i know that - felt out of control and I hated that!
So what's the debt busting plans this week - did you get extra to go to Next? I am going to see if I can close my account down whilst paying it off - so no more spends allowed and once balance cleared it will close off.

well done on getting a handle on your debts. erm about not telling your OH. if you did then you would be able to go through the joint bills to maybe get them cheaper and so not have to put so much in the bills account each month.....
just a thought
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
