There's a Wii thread over here that should be of use, though you shouldn't expect one before christmas if you order now: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=289373
Be careful if you're ordering Sony stuff from overseas (especially hardware) they recently sued Lik Sang into the stoneage for importing psps and other retailers are dropping orders and pre-orders.
Also, if you want a PS3, you might as well just not bother.0 -
I have got a Sony PSP Giga Pack (1gb memory stick) + free Silicon protective Case + free game (Fired Up) for £199.99 from https://www.foneplanet.com
there would have been a delivery charge ( i think it was about £8.00) but because I ordered another game for £19.99, i got free delivery
Delivery was well packaged and arrived very quickly0 -
Had a look on ebay and there are some great offers shipping new Nintendo DS Lite bundles from Hong Kong. Just two things to be aware of. The "free games" are Gameboy Advance games, not DS, but still work well and for the prices are really good value. Also, watch the shipping charge which is usually about £25. Even so, I thought they were still a good deal.0

Remember ladies and gents - PSP Value and Giga packs have been discontinued by Sony, so if yo do want to get a PSP, many places only have base packs left without memory cards (unless you go pink)~*Cerenia*~

Not 100% sure, but i'm pretty sure that the guarantee is the same as any new game/console bought. My hubby buys pre-owned all the time as they are considerably cheaper and considering that he can finish a game in a week means that not only do we get our points building up, but he can then return the games for a trade-in (for a cheaper price obviously) and we get to keep the points!!
They also do a 3 for 2 deal on pre-owned games. They are priced at £3.99, £7.99, £9.99 and £12.99 and they deal is buy the three and the cheapest is free.
Hubby buys threes games, finishes one of them and takes maybe three back and normally gets approx. £11 trade in for them.
PS2 consoles are sold for approx. £60.00. All with controllers and cables etc.
As i said early, not 100% sure of prices etc, but i'll be going there tomorrow so i'll get some more info.
hope this helps

Hi...
I don't know if it's been mentioned (or if it's technically the right place to mention it) but my husband has found a free xbox 360 deal!
It's some thing like :
take an 18 month contract w/ Orange (we use Orange anyhow) pay about £18 for 6 months then about £35 for 12 months.
If you spend money on a mobile phone bill anyway, it could be a good deal. I can't remember the site but will do my best to put it on later today.
Anyone interested?
Hope it helps.

First ever post so bear with me..... my son, having decided his old PS2 took too long to load, asked me to trade in his old games, Game Boy Advance etc for a new slimline PS2. Off down to Game Station then....
To cut a long story short I got £87 for the trade - ins toward a £95 PS2. I was informed by the staff that as I had bought a new PS2 I could buy any game for £5. Not knowing which my son would want I initially declined the offer but then bought Fifa 07 (which he already had!) for the required £5 and then immediately asked what then Trade in value was - to which the reply was £20!!!! Needless to say I sold it (back) to them & it was deducted from the cost of the PS2.
All in all the new PS2 was paid for by the trade-ins and I left with a £7 credit note.
May be useful to know if anyone is planning to buy a new PS2.

Most Blockbuster stores now stock xb360 and have some really competitive high street offers...
XB360 20GB PREMIUM PACK AND FREE SELECTED GAME £279.99 AND 50 £1 OFF RENTAL VOUCHERS
Basically a free game as the console costs £279.99 itself
Selected titles include:
Tiger Woods 2007
Fifa 2007
Splinter Cell
Dead Rising
The Godfather
Perfect Dark Zero
Project Gotham Racing 3
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter
Test Drive Unlimited
XB360 20GB PREMIUM PACK AND ANY GAME £299.99 AND 50 £1 OFF RENTAL VOUCHERS
If you didn't want any of the above games you can pick a game of your choice and effectively only pay £20 for it (top price games can be £50)
XB360 20GB PREMIUM PACK AND 4 GAMES
GEARS OF WAR
PRO EVO 6
SPLINTER CELL
PROJECT GOTHAM RACING
FOR £359.99 AND 50 £1 OFF RENTAL VOUCHERS
This is on sale now even though Gears of War is not released until 17th November. However you can buy the whole package, take home the items in store and pick up Gears of War on day of release.
Hint: If you wanted these titles but really don't fancy one of them take advantage of blockbusters trade in system (you will need to join if you haven't already, but it's free to do so) and trade in the unwanted game for store credit (usually £25 for gears of war, splinter cell or pro evo and a bit less for project gotham as it's been out a little while) and use that credit against a game you do want to buy. Remember you are paying in effect £20 for each of these games (which usually retail for £40-£50) so if you trade in a game you'll be getting back more than you paid.
Don't forget the rental vouchers, 50 are alot to use by yourself but if you give a sheet of vouchers to some of your friends who rent you'll earn lots of brownie points and still have plenty leftover for yourself!0
