I personally don't think you can beat the Pre-owned consoles and games from 'Game'. We are regulars as my hubby is a PS2 freak and we even get excellent service and occasional knock down prices on items with damaged packaging.
We also have a points card which we use regularly and this has built up enough to be able to buy our son his ps2 for xmas.
Hope that helps xx

Do they sell the pre-owned on in their stores as I cannot see anything about this online. And do you know approximately what sort of price they go for and if they have any kind of guarantee please? Any info you can give is much appreciated.0 -
"Game" are offering the Pink Sony PSP with Sims 2 for £169.99.0

Try Blockbusters...i work there and i know everyone thinks its just rentals but we get so may pre-owned games and consoles in its not even funny.
Also, every store has been given loads of new stock to shift - I work in a pretty small store and we have tonns of 360's, PSPs, Nintendowhatsits ... so the bigger the store the more stuff and everyone wants them out of our site by Xmas!!!
Got really good deals as well, don't know if they are online but just pop in to your local store and have a look.
Hope that helped.0 -
I cant help with the actual consoles, but there is a fab service for games - whybuygames (https://www.whybuygames.com) - instead of forking out for expensive games you can pay a small monthly amount and you get to keep the games as long as you want and there's no late fees so you dont need to worry. Oh and postage is free too.0

I bought an XBOX 360 FULL system from Boots.com via Quidco (earning 6.5% in cashback), I also found a voucher codes to claim: discount of 10% (£28), £5 off, free delivery (worth £6), and 1000 Boots Advantage Points (£10) on ukhotdeals.co.uk. I also paid using my LTSB AMEX card, which earned me cashback points too.
The offer with Boots ended in mid-September, but keep checking on the deals websites for others.
I estimated my savings to be in the region of £65, so I got a full system for £215, which I was very pleased with. My son has already agreed to sell his old XBox on Ebay to contribute to this, but thinks we can only afford the Core system and 1 game. The full system is better value in the long run as you will invariably want the wireless controller, hard drive, memory packs etc, which all add up in the end (IRO.£120) -he was going to have these extra bits for his birthday next year.
Look around for deals, and always try to go to a retailer via Quidco if you can to earn your cashback. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
