Pen-Pin - glad the nurse managed to work her magic x

flutterby - what a shame for your work colleague :( Don't go to the shops, save your money instead.
I've started SW (but doing it on my own - bought a CD off ebay with all the gubbins on it, far cheaper than attending the classes). So the big question is does anyone have any home baked goodies that are reasonable in the syn value? Would HM wholemeal bread be free?
I think I need to visit the SW thread on the H&B board.

  • No bread is free Bitsy, all flour has to be "pointed", if you mean as part of your daily extras, there is a way to point it. But I can't remember offhand, maybe pm Tappers, she is the SW queen.

Bitsy - HM bread is a strict no no on SW! :naughty:

there is always scan bran cake(yuk:D) or there is a reasonable weetabix cake. Homebaked goodies are best avoided if possible.

    Evening everyone:j:j
Not a bad day here wether wise. Been quite warm.

The twins are at my moms. They had a good day at nursery and have behaved themslefs at my moms unlike last tuesday.
They will be home at about 7:20. My wife is at work and will be back about 7:00.

Dinner tonight will be leftover roast beef (cold) chips and veg.

I hope that everyone is haveing a good day.
Good luck to all that have young people doing exams. Very stressfukll time all round.

I can not belive that its been 20 years since the first gulf war:eek: I was only 11 t the time and not long gone up to big school well it seemd big at the time 5 years later when i was doing my GCSEs The place seemd quite small:D Teenage girls also seemd lovley:) Now they just sceare the hell out, And i feel they should be under lock and key at home. I will say that if ever we are on a bus with the twins in puch chairs and there is not enough space or we are finding it hard to get off the bus then if there is a teenage lad or two on the bus they always move out of the buggy area with out asking and they always offer help to my wife with the puch chair to get off the bus. I have also seen teenage lad give up seats for old folk, or PG women.
But we have had teenage girls be very rude to us when we have ake them to move so we can get the push chairs into the buggy area. They have never offerd any help but have stood in the way.b They have sat there while old women an dme with walking sticks stand up. They are ment to be the fairyer sex are they not?
Now i know that they are not all like the above. We have had some lovley girls come up to us and ask all about the twins, whats it like haveing them are they hard work, OOO lokk have qute they are they sort of stuff, Its just?? well i dont know. Maybe its just me being silly.

    Soory for the moan:o

Wel im off to get anothre coffee.:j:j

Its no fun being in debt, being short of money. Haveing companys phoneing up asking for money taht you dont have. Most of us on here have been there at some time or another.
Dont for get some little treats for the both of you to de stress yourselfs and to remember that life is not all about debt its about living and being alive.

    Evening all,

    Shattered!! Cant wait for bedtime!
Wet and very cold here today.

Had a shock this morning, went to check balance as the rent went out today and i have much less left than i thought...and i mean MUCH MUCH LESS. Gonna be tight until feb because i have a rather large c/card bill to pay-the last of the crimbo shopping. I planned on doing a big food shop but i'll have to wait a couple of weeks.Have freezer and cupboard bits just no 'Ooooo i know what i fancy' foods.Nothing snacky. I have things for DD and im sure i'll survive without them :(:(
Have enough to buy bits we really cant do without like milk, bread, pet food, yogurts and fruit. Will eat frozen veggies for a while. Really hate being caught off guard like this.

Apparently today is the most depressing day of the year, not sure how they worked that out.
Mum is doing school run tomorrow so its washing and ironing for me,oh yay two of my fave jobs :o

Hope you are all well, get well soon if you arent!
    Big big hugs around x

Tappers - why do you say HM bread is a no no on SW? I count my HM wholemeal as a HEX (I weigh it so it's right amount). I only have 2 slices a week though so it's not too bad I guess!

Bitsy - Tappers has very kindly got me the new SW food directory so you can have a browse at that on Sat :)
