ok, I am referring to the blatent sex talk that gets posted
That doesn't worry me. probably because I don't get all of it :D

Use of rude language rarely adds anything to the debate though.
What I find rude is people reading more than the words in the post: yes sometimes it is intented that way, and sometimes, what it says is just and only what it says rather than what the "offended" person extrapolates. So if in doubt, just take it at nominal value!

  • I personally don't agree with it and have in the past and no doubt in the future will either report to Glad or abuse. Same with swearing and circumventing the swear filter.

I usually access MSE in my living room and I wouldn't entertain some of the levels of swearing nor "sex" talk in my living room by actual people so when I read it on here it is, to me, invading my personal space.

Rebekka if anything isn't removed its because it hasn't been reported.

Thankyou savingsgirl for bringing this up. This is a SAVING MONEY site and those who want to talk otherwise should go to appropriate site.
I was shocked and so offended when flicking through the days post for money saving and found a poll the other week re and I quote "bum love". I almost didnt want to come back to the site. I was so cross and offended that this could even have been posted here let alone not taken off the board.

I'm very broad-minded and laugh my socks off when I visit over on "Nelly's". However this site is called Money Saving Expert and thus should be suitable for all.
Pizzaboy, your avtar is totally inappropriate for this site. It doesn't matter what it IS but what it's meant to look like.

I think the arms would need its own abuse team if all repulsive, abusive posts where reported, i dont even read the pub thread anymore because to be totally honest its the same old, the language to this part of the site has become overly accepted by most, and if anyone is offended by this thread then it shows they they are clearly aware of the bad content of their posts
  • Those who deem it necessary to beat the swear filter and use the 'c' word and the like have obviously been let down by the education system as far as English is concerned

I wonder why it is, that young men are always cautioned against bad girls. Anyone can handle a bad girl. It's the good girls men should be warned against.-David Niven
