  • now he has told me to wear jeans and a warm coat and the number 999 has something to do with it so now I am wondering if I'm getting carted off by the police and the cell might be cold lol. I will let you know what that is all about.

How exciting & how mysterious! Enjoy, whatever it is and can't wait for teh update. Actually really excited for you :D

Much better than my effort last Saturday when I went to a Singles dinner. The less said, the better..... lol Just me and the dog from now on, far less complicated.

startagain, your post made me laugh and reminded me of a date I went on with a guy I met through a dating site... His picture on the profile looked like Dermot O'Leary (which I didn't think was bad) but in reality he was actually Mr Beans brother. Now looks wise I could see past (I'm no oil painting so I have to be realistic!) but he actually acted like Mr Beans brother too. Wasn't a long date!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

  • Sorry just got a chance to get on the computer internet playing up grrrr.

Ok date I got my hair done glammed up well thought I would try and make an effort wore my nicest jeans, he knocks on the door and laughs now this is not a good start to the date and says I will a) freeze and b) my make up isn't going to last long. He gave me a leather jacket and a helmet and then I'm worried. Well the 999 is his motorbike a ducati 999 apperently (perhaps I forgot to tell him I am petrified of motor bikes) lol. So of we go to a speed track and OK I admit I have turned into a bit of a speed demon now. It was great but scared to hell out of me. So my nice calm chilled out bloke turns out to be a speed freak with a motor bike that can do 180mph round a track then he took me to a bikers pub for a drink (and my god did I need one). We were going for a meal too but my stomach was gone and no chance of eating, we then went to a place were you can see the country and sat and talked in the dark looking at lights. He dropped me off and gave me a kiss on the cheek and said he would see me saturday. Which to be fair I wanted to snog his face off he text when he got home to say he had a great time.

The weird thing is I am not used to men who shock me and that are so laid back too. So the date was great and really hope I get more than a kiss on the cheek on saturday else I might have to take matters into my own hands lol

He sounds GORGEOUS. What a great first date - so much nicer than the predictable kind. Does he have a brother? Or maybe I should amend that to does he have a single uncle!? Look forward to Saturday and have a lovely time.

  • Last night was a no date night in the end as he had to look after his kids but he's promised next weekend we will go out. Apparently his ex wife heard he had a new g/f and decided to she would ruin his night, he didn't sound happy but I understand but was a bit bored lol

  • Morning nikki,

I hope the ex isn't going to be too much of a fly in the ointment. What a shame, and telly wasn't so good last night either.... I ended up watching 4 catch up episodes of The Good Wife on my computer. Hope you manage to catch up with him soon. How's the home decoration coming on, any plans?
    Hugs
