I haven't updated for a few days been so busy. I have painted my living room after getting a grant from the council. It is now a calming white and lilic colour which is much better than the coffee colour it was. I just need to gloss the doors now and it will all be done. The carpets come Sunday so they will be put down bit later than I thought but at least I am getting there. The best news is I am getting my stuff back today so I really need to a) check it's all there and b) get some on ebay. Had to sort it through a solicitor in the end but in fairness after one letter he crumbled and agreed. Cowards and bullies come to mind. I am feeling so much stronger I can draw a line under everything and start to live now. dd is in the sports team at school and has her competition tonight fingers crossed for her. She is so sporty but sadly she doesn't get it from me lol. So the week has been bright my councillor came yesterday and said she felt like she had to peel me off the ceiling lol. I am waiting for the crash which I know will come as bi polar is nasty for that but right now I am riding high.Became debt free December 2022

You are an amazing lady, Nikki. You have done fantastically in a situation that is unimaginable to most of us. Your strength will see you through.
Have you thought about offering garden clearing services to others to earn some money? And with spring around the corner there will be other gardening work - planting, mowing lawns etc."Green pastures are before me,
Which yet I have not seen;"
I'd love to be a good example - instead, I am a horrible warning.0 -
I have now got some work :j not sure how dwp will respond but .....well let me start at the start of yesterday.
I now have all my stuff back god I have so many clothes I really need to do a massive ebay, I am sitting looking at a wall of boxes and my dd has all her toys and has been jumping around like a mad girl all night. I also have a job I helped the removal men bring in my stuff and for a skinny lanky thing apparently I have a lot of strength (his words not mine). So he has offered me some work helping him and driving the van, it's not regular but as and when and I would have to pay my own tax and go self employed. I also now have a part time job at the school as the gardener for 5 hours a week but I can go and do that anytime as I will be looking after their allotment which is properly paid work. So my life is looking so bright I read my first posts and realise in a short space everything has changed I felt so down then but now it looks like a blip on my life and I can't believe everything is finally going my way I just need to sort out the debts and bi polar now and life will be so good and right now couldn't get better. I will beat bi polar as it can no longer control my life it makes me scared and paranoid but I have to stop it doing that once and for all.
Well busy day today sorting boxes and I am going to take my mum out for lunch as a huge thank you for being my rock and keeping my sane for the last 2 months, well all my life really. I have decided that mums can be a pain but my mum is the best mum in the world.

Fantastic news, fantastic post and fantastic in every which way. I am so pleased for you nikki - I quite like the idea of making your life up with bite sized chunks - bit of this, bit of that and voila! It certainly stops the "live to work" thing which can happen when you just have one full time job and lose sight of everything else that matters.
So well done you.
Have a good day
Hugs

Morning nikki and another "Well Done" especially on bagging a date. Let us know the secret please? I am pleased you have got the carpet down. There is a real luxury feel to walking on freshly laid carpet. Your daughter is absolutely right.

Good luck - it sounds intriguing. Much better than my effort last Saturday when I went to a Singles dinner. The less said, the better..... lol Just me and the dog from now on, far less complicated.
Have a good evening.
