Ohhh thanks startagain I will look into that I didn't know anything about that.
Well bargain of the day I bought 2 packs of wooden pegs as my washing nearly ended up down the road at the weekend from Tesco they were marked at £1.60 a pack on shelf but then I took them to the till they rang up at £2 so I went to customer services and told them she then tried to refund me the difference, now I normally would have walked away with that but when I told her about their policy of refund and letting me have the items she rolled her eyes and gave me the £4 back and the pegs. woooohhhhoooo a bargain to me.Became debt free December 2022

I have had a good think about what I want after seeing my councillor today and decided on the following:
- Get through Wednesday and hopefully it will all go to plan _pale_ not looking forward to it
- Keep up the debt repayments
- Start digging my allotment now my garden tidy
- Make sure I do a meal plan every week and only go shopping when dd is at school (no unplanned buys that way):rotfl:
- Sell the two books I have read on amazon
- Put all my spare change in a sealed box and put it towards debt every month
- Look for a part-time job

Hi essex I'm good ta,
Well today I have cleared next doors front garden and cut down their hedge and have to say i looks better than mine now  but they have supplied me with lots of coffee all morning (and honestly I thought I drank a lot of coffee normally) but they have been good and he has given me some gardening tools and said I can keep them :T so little bonus.
I am dreading tomorrow but did manage a bit of sleep but will tell all when it is over hopefully it will be great news :j.
My mum has been round I have to say she was trying to be supportive but just wound me up for half an hour as the stress is major already and could do without more problems on my plate (she is a glass half empty person) which I try desperatly not to be but slip up on occassions.
Now I am just chilling out and waiting to pick up dd and have a tv night with her to take my mind off things for a while.
My money is in now so some of the debt is going down so that feels better. I gave my mum £10 that next door gave me so even though I didn't budget for it, it is spare and right now I feel good.
Well I will update tomorrow night as I want to remember tomorrow for ever and realise (if it goes to plan) that is the worst I will ever go through again so I have nothing more to worry about after all my debts are just paper, metal and a figure. :rotfl:Became debt free December 2022

So time to seek a solicitors help it's all so wrong and so arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr (that's how I feel) right now there are not a lot of positives OK one me and dd are safe and happy.
I have spent £32 on total and uter guilt presents for dd.
On a better note I have a days work tomorrow but they are paying me in asda voucher so a bit of a pain as I don't shop there but a bonus as well.Became debt free December 2022

Hi Nikki
I have just found your diary and had a read through. It sounds like you've had a really awful time of things so I really just want to say that I hope things pick up for you really soon. Good to hear that you and DD are safe and warm, I hope she liked her presents (even if they are guilt ones), though she sounds lovely and I'm sure she loves you to bits anyway.
Good luck with your gardening, we grow veggies which taste so much better than the shop bought veg and quite theraputic too. Glad you got the dreaded Wednesday out of the way, you can get some good sleep tonight with the weight off your mind.
Look after yourself, I shall follow your diary and hope that tomorrow brings you a good day

nikki,
I am so sorry that you had a terrible day. I hope you feel a bit better soon, try not to do the compulsive spending thing though or you will be even more unhappy afterwards. Chin up, we are all here to support you. if and when you want to give us any more details perhaps we can offer you a bit more help?
Hugs

A good evening last night finally a break through.
Ok my story warts and all I have lived next to my brother for 2 and half yrs and after being diagnosed with bi polar they have been mentally abusing throughout that time. I was desperate to get out and the stress was making me depressed and making my conditon worse. I was paying £950 a month (which should have included bills) but he never paid them. Been too embarresed of my family to admit its my own brother who has done this. I was made jobless, homeless on the 11th November as social services and the police removed us from the property with 1 suitcase of clothes after dd bravely told her head teacher what wa going on. I went last Wed to get my stuff back but the locks had been changed and I had ao walk away as it happens he police let me down as they were suppossed to be there and weren't. Wednesday was the braveset day of my life for me I face my demons and did it I haven't eaten all week and slept very little through fear.
Well for the good news finally they have so nicely decided i can have all my suff back next thursday and my other brother (who is a saint and the best big brother I could hope for) is going to make sure this happens). To think I have pursued this because of one teddy of dd's.
Well there is light at the end of this tunnel. I still have to sort out my bi polar now but that is easy compared to all this. I am so happy I can't tell you all the words in the world won't explain it I will see the biggest grin on dd's face and that's worth more than any money.
well there we are all the horribleness of 2010 glad it's gone never to return happy new 2011 it will be the best year of my life. I have decided i was born in 2011 and this is the start of my new life.Became debt free December 2022

Oh bless you, you poor thing. I must admit I have a friend who is a social worker who often seems to have cases that involve someone being left like you with absolutely nothing. Too often they end up in a grotty hostel somewhere for ages with court cases and all sorts going on. I really feel for you. It sounds like things will gradually improve from now on - thank heavens for your other brother.
Bit by bit you will get your new home sorted out, I know, and you sound positive enough to gain control of your bi-polar - as they say "the only way is up".....
Thinking of you

ty start, it really annoys me the way you get left with nothing and they don't see you personal items as being important.
Ok for the good stuff, I got a pretty big payment from the CSA today :j so dd now has a brand spanking new bed and has a smile so wide I swear it can be seen from the moon. She now has a new teddy wearing a special daughter t-shirt, a cooker finally no more cooking with the microwave, and I got carpets on order I felt really cheeky asking what discount they could give but got 10%:money: so not a bad day all in all. I also have enough to now wallpaper the livingroom it's so depressing looking at plaster. I know I should clear a chunk of my debts but I feel this is money well spent as a little comfort sometimes is more than anything else.
Life is looking so much better.Became debt free December 2022
