Hugs Helen - hope your dad improves soon.

Piggers - hope LOs are ok.

I've been flying today but not in the way I'm supposed to! In the middle of a PE lesson in front of a load of 9/10 year olds I decided to go flying so needless to say I have a few painful bruises.

I have done some other flying as well though LR and kids' bedrooms have been hoovered.

our CVA has also gone down (how does that happen when we got our best GCSE results ever, and were 37th in the list of 200 most improved schools???).

Depends on what last year's cohorts entry stats levels were I think. If they were an academically stronger year on entry then they would have been expected to achieve higher in their GCSEs and thus the CVA could easily be lower (sorry if you know all that, not trying to be condesending).
The tables can make you go dolally really easily.

Achieved very little flying wise. I need to do some ironing later so that my pile is empty before DH gets home tomorrow night. I'll have 3 days to turn his stuff around before he needs to pack it again for his next trip.

    What they said.

    *************

Now, WHAT IS that TERRIBLE noise?

Ah. Three cats attempting to declutter the first spider that has made it indoors since we moved in.

Do you really have to declutter it a leg at a time between you all?

    [sigh]

My old cat used to do that, she came up to my DH with what looked like trainer laces hanging from her mouth, "oh baby, what've you got?" She gave him the biggest corn spider I've ever seen. As big as his hand . She was so pleased, luckily he's not bothered to much 'bout spiders.

Well, in my half HHC I managed to finish changing the bed, sweep the stairs, declutter more miscellaneous papers, sling lots of paper in the recycling - along with a box of jars which are no use for any preserving .......... and so to dinner.

Going to shifty off to coffee now - and might then do some gentle tidying before OH comes home.

  • So this weekend sees me catching the darn cold again, or could it be the hot flushes that are getting me down. They are happening in the day no at work, so dispite turning up with make up & hair looking okay, i then proceed to have a hot flush at some point in the day.Doesnt help that I feel dumpy and fat ( which I am ).Just having one of those times I think.Still I have done my dailies,I took half a day off work, then I came home and had a crazy few hours, washing windows open, cats out, washing up, hoovered like a crazy thing and emptied hoover afterwards, done the cleaning of the bathroom , stood back and felt quiet smug.came downstairs and allowed myself a little half hour on the computer, and a little afternoon nap.A work colleague popped round and I opened my door knowing that my home was clean and clutter free !! YAY !!

    :) Hi BB :)
    Hi to everyone else :)
Followed your example and joined in with today's challenge.
I now have a lovely clean bathroom and a bit of enthusiasm for trying to get the rest of the house organised after our move in November.
