I am totally amazed at the amount of stuff I have managed to get done this week. I would have laughed at anyone who said I would get all this done! I have an almost 2 year old and a 7 month old at home, (my eldest started school this year) but I think this challenge has made me see that I have been using the kids as an excuse for not getting stuff done for far too long...I CAN do it!!

Im happy with my bedroom now, possible for the first time since we moved in almost 5 years ago lol, and I have made a start on the kids room..Ive put away the huge mountain of washing which I have been putting off for days!! :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
Level one done...sort of. A bit of heaping at the side of boxes. :( Bed looks tempting now!

drawers ok....windows only given a lick and promise to the glass....need to do frames next week if not before.

The bottom sheet from ur bed has come out of the washing with horrid spotting on it....like soap scum maybe? I've thrown in back in. washing pile has grown horrendously...one of the dogs was violently sick...:( Yuck, yuck...

Afternoon all, not been posting much but I have been cleaning. I've done all the lists. Lovely day today so I've hung the washing out although I don't think it's warm enough for it to actually dry. Also dusted and vacuumed living room again and vacuumed right through downstairs.

Had a walk round the park to get some fresh air, very frosty but nice.

Still catching up - oh and I made a chicken stew earlier so I just have to reheat that for dinner and put some dumplings in.

    Serena, loved your post.

Poohbear59 - sorry about your business loan - they'll regret turning you down when you're a millionaire.

I am a bad Flylady. I am embarrassed to admit that I had to look up floordrobe! :embarasse

Flying-wise I seem to be managing little more than the dailies at the moment – last night after I’d dealt with Mr T, put him away, dinner, washing up, WM, airer, tidy round, and today’s sandwiches, it was 9.30 pm. And I was past feeling enthusiastic about looking for cobwebs. Yes, I know an HHC would have made a difference but …………. I am trying to randomly declutter some Hotspots during the week by standing over them for 2 minutes and flinging anything that is obviously rubbish.

And I really, really, really want to declutter the three tins of paint and the brush that OH has had standing in the bathroom for the last twelve months. I guess he’ll notice if I do and say "I was just about to ..........."

No chance of much apart from dailies tonight and tomorrow – could be in for a busy evening Friday!

Off to buy a long handled soft broom ……… so I don’t have to always get down on my hands and knees to sweep the kitchen floor.

Mollina girl, yes I got the book I wanted...was quite surprised as it is only a small library. After having a quick skim through it I am feeling a lot mor positive, so going to have my lunch now and then get on with some more studying...
Oh, need to refeed the WM and TD first........see you all laters xx
  • pooh aw honey I am sorry to hear that - did they give you any particular reason that you can work on or adjust the plan? Have you got an advisor who could look at it and help you tweek it if necessary - like business enterprise or whatever you have in England? I hope the bank were just having an off day and whoever you sopeak to next will be much more helpful and accomodating. Enjoy your time out and it will help you look at things with fresh eyes - dont give up I have every faith in you - YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

pigpen that's a shame about DS & GF - hope they sort something out and Jacob isn't affected.

get well vibes for all the poorlies today.

well done to everyone - the better weather seems to have spurred you on to being very productive.

I haven't done much flying so far -but have been to my prayer group and Church service this morning and feel better for going and feel now that I have straightened out in my head what I have to do.

have had an early lunch as its early tea before I go out.

just going to put washing away that is now dry and the eBay stuff i listed last night - got 25 things on - before Celia arrives at 2.

:( I got turned down for my business loan and am feeling carp. DH says he is going to take me out somewhere different so I can have the day away from all the paperwork.

On the positive side I have already been in touch with two more banks.

I'm so sorry to hear your news but wish you good luck with the other banks and I hope you have a nice day out with your DH. Keep positive.

Just had a phonecall from my caseworker at the CSA to "bring me up to date" all good so far (it wasn't her I spoke with yesterday, so I was obviously on her list to phone) just what I was told about the DOE order, how much to be paid, and how much arrears. Then she made a strange comment about there being one more action she is going to take, then went a bit quiet about it. Said she would be "looking into his financial situation" but couldn't speak to me about it just yet, and would tell me more once the team had finished doing that. Very Very odd.

I've just caught up with your posts sockdrawer, why are KH's such unfeeling ba5tards(can I say this?) with their children? At least with your DH they have a dad in their lives, one who wants to spend time with them.
I hope the CSA get everything they can for you. xx

Go for it.. then when he says 'I was just about to...'.. you can reply.. 'Well, you didn't do it quick enough did you?' .. Or just move them intact to just outside the back door and then you can reply... 'well there they are, get on with it' :p

I have loaded the TD.. filled my face and made lots of tea.. baby napping so I am off to watch Holby.. providing OH isn't waking her scuffling about up there.. and do some knitting..
