Hello all.
We have a little sunshine today, but it's still 'orribly cold. *shivery smilie*
Helenjelly I'd guess your get up and go is all being used up on your Dad at the mo, so don't fret about flying. (((HUG))) Hope he's having a better day today.:o
Dusty similar for you – that was some horrible news to take in; give yourself a wee time out. (((HUG))):o
WonderfulLife No, we don't wash filters every week, but Mr LW does always take an old toothbrush to them when he empties the Dyson; he vacuums the whole bungalow on a Saturday because the Dyson's too heavy for me, and he says it's just as easy to give the filters a wee clean when he empties it;). HTH.
Seafarers are you OK mate? I didn't see your original post, but you obviously must've been upset.
Piggers hoping the DS1 + gf situation gets resolved soon.
Poohbear oh, no, bummer!:( (((HUGS)))
Mrs_B I'd declutter them anyway. [STRIKE]Over DH's head![/STRIKE]
Kezlou oh no, are you OK? I seem to remember you having trouble with that knee, or have I got muddled up? Please take care of yourself.
At this point may I offer a good hard poke up the rear with a pointy stick for KHs and QBs (female equivalent of KH) everywhere, regardless of whether there are kids involved or not? Not to mention any other troublesome and unreasonable rellies.
Mr LW had a letter from his Sis2 yesterday - dunno what was in it, but he made a derisive noise and binned it.
As for me; my thanks to those who have asked, I'm still in one piece, although I did hit the deck again after I logged off last night - caught my little toe against the leg of the coffee table, twisted it outwards, (the toe, not the table leg) and landed on me bum. So all in all, I'm having a bit of a naff week.
Still, it's a reasonably easy list for me again - some doesn't apply, some is already done, and the rest I can do without too much trouble.:)
I'm going to declutter some more coffee and go and do a more thorough dust in the bedroom than the cursory removal-of-wood-dust I did yesterday.;)
Laters, all.:wave:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

I got turned down for my business loan and am feeling carp. DH says he is going to take me out somewhere different so I can have the day away from all the paperwork.
Sorry to hear thatI hope you have more luck with the other banks. did they give you any feedback as to why they said no?
Afternoon all, not been posting much but I have been cleaning. I've done all the lists. Lovely day today so I've hung the washing out although I don't think it's warm enough for it to actually dry.
I've done the same but not sure if it will dry but at least it's not in the kitchen all daytoottifrootti wrote: »
I haven't done much flying so far -but have been to my prayer group and Church service this morning and feel better for going and feel now that I have straightened out in my head what I have to do.
Decided it is too sunny to waste the next hour indoors so off to do a bit in the front garden just for an hour before I take the cakes up to school. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Hi Lw how are you and mr LW?
Helen Hope your okay, take care of yourself x
Seafarers hope your alright
Yes that me the sap with dodgy knee. I'm okay just in an extreme amount of pain, again. My knee collapsed and then i fell flat on the knee that i broke. Took me ages to get up off the floor.
I'm just feeling down at the mo, just as i was finally wandering around and doing stuff.
Just hoping i don't have to have another xray again. I'm sick of seeing the hospital.0 -
Level 1 and level 2 all done
A couple of bits left of level 3 and a couple of extras left.......went out in the garden today (poo patrol
) as my friend has offered me the spare turf she has after re-turfing their garden
Am very pleased as I said this year my project will be the garden (the whole thing is block paved, which looks nice, but I like some grass!) and lo and behold someone offers me free turf..! Anyway, we are picking it up at the week-end, so I need to get the garden as sorted out as I can before then, so that will probably replace most of the extras this week......happy flying, lovely ladies (and gents?) x
ETA - so rude, sorryHope you get things sorted with your DS1 / Ds1 g/f and Jacob pigpen, I hope you haven't done too much damage to your knee kezlou and that is really rubbish news, poohbear, but fingers crossed for the other banks x Still thinking about Helen and her Dad and family x Everyone else (I'm sure there are lots I have rudely forgotten!)

Hello all,
Hope your all well, hugs to those that need/want them.
Have just got in after a fun morning having my ESA medical. The lady was ever so nice and it was hard and nasty etc but she did her best to make me comfortable. My mum came in and got a bit weepy when we had to discuss suicidal ideation etc but she is ok now too.
Went a bit mad yesterday and de-stressed by ripping all the horrible old wallpaper off the walls in the hallway.
Now, don't get me wrong it does need to be done but i am really regretting starting it now. Specially as it has come off and I have now got to do it all again to remove the lining paper which was underneath. I do not want to use the steamer as I know the mess it can make of the plaster in this place so it will all have to be done slowly slowly with a scraper, a sponge and warm water. Then everything will need a good wash down. The ceiling needs perking up in areas so dad has offered to do that for me but he is on hols all next week so I will have to take it steady. Lots and Lots of gloss work to do too with all the door frames and cupboard doors.. Oh yikes.
Anyway I won't be flying in the master bed today as man is hoping to come sunday:j so will do it saturday so can de-cat fluff it due to his allergy.
I have my counsellor at 4 so do have time to spend a good hour in there singing to the radio and scraping at the walls. I am ever so tired and drained after this mornings meeting maybe doing something like that will help me settle.
OK coffee has been drunk so I will go spend an hour on it. Will give me an idea on how well it comes off..
see ya laters
