What about on double yellow lines directly outside a trade exit with a sign that says 'DO NOT PARK'??

Double yellow lines mean 'no waiting', so who made that sign?

    Oh the irony!!

Instead of coming back on here and insulting those that have clearly replied with honest answers that you do not want to hear, why not book yourself in for some further driver training, that you are clearly in need of.

Be down to you. Shame about the Illegal parker being where it was, else you could have waited there until the delivery had been completed. Doesn't sound like he was blocking the exit as you/workmate/delivery managed to get out.Have a:grouphug: & get rid of that tension.

    Great news folks!

Just spoke to my insurer who have advised me that I won't be liable for this because of where the other vehicle was parked (amongst other things lol)

Guess some of you aren't as smart or clued up as you might like to think.

    See ya!!!

Au contraire, reading was part of my advanced motoring course and helped me to gain a pass.
Perhaps you should try some further training?

You do have to listen and take on board the advice of others though, which I'm not sure you are up to.

It would seem that confrontation and insulting people is his usual posting style if it is something he does not want to hear.

Think you are telling porkies now, what you insurance company are probably saying is that THEY will not take the liability and will persue you for their money back. It is never ever right to drive into a stationary object at low speed.
Out of interest, are you female?

Looks like this case will be another one to go in the file marked "I was driving down the street and a stationery vehicle hit my car".
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
