Good morning all. I didn't want to get up this morning, but the chickens needed feeding so I dragged myself out of bed. The regulars will know this is a rare occasion as usually I'm wide awake at stupid o'clock!
So far today:- checked banking
- checked for surveys
- fed and watered chickens and let them out to free-range
- organised bills to be paid in next few days
- clean out chickens and ask for some eggies
- start making 50th birthday present for my best friend
- trawl through freezer to find something for dinner today
- try to encourage DH to put a couple of bits on Ebay
- have an NSD

Not much to report from here this weekend as I have mostly been in:
Work four hours at Domino's tonight (had to pick up a second job recently but it's really easy - albeit minimum wage - money!)
Charge up Sat Nav for above job
Sit in and catch up on queued TV last night rather than go out
Pick the herbs for the week and freeze half
Do clothes on quick wash
Call friends in USA before weekend is over so calls are free
Cancel O2 broadband from next month and move to a cheaper plan0 -
Morning all! Hope everyone is well?
Been quite busy already this morning...- Dusted and hoovered house
- Put dry washing away
- Taken dog for a good run in the park before the predicted monsoon!
- Bathed dog and brushed him out - very curly so this takes ages:(
- Cleaned kitchen
- Clean bathrooms after I've had a bath/shower
- One load of washing after OH has been for a run so no sweaty stuff ponging the house out
- Mark 10 exam papers
- Maybe mark a set of year 7 books - not very taxing but time consuming
- Maybe pop to Trafford Centre to exchange an unwanted xmas gift and see if there's anything in Next I fancy to spend a gift card on - so no real spending!
- Make cheese and potato pie (with sausages for OH) for tea
January grocery spending - £82.73/ £1200 -

- List 2 more things
Hi everyone
Good to see the thread so busy.
Had a lovely long lie this morning - probably after my lovely lush filled bath last night
Ahh.
Hoping not to do too much today and hopefully an NSD :T
Put something in the slow cooker and might make some soup later too.
Hopefully get round to a bit of knitting at some point too.
Catch up throughout the day I'm sure xx0 -
Morning all (just!)

My list for today:
Go to gym
DD to swimming lesson (already paid up front)
tea from stores
do a meal plan for next week from things in freezer/cupboards, following WW, DH and I lost 3.5lb each last week
home manicure
quick tidy round
order DD thank you cards online, use cashback website
check banking - double check budget for rest of the month
investigate holiday flights some more
Early night again, need to recharge some batteries...
Think that's about all folks, lovely to see the thread so busy, lets hope it continues..
Have a great day everyone :j0 -

Just a thought but if it is a small group of people asking for you to do job after job after job I have a great line that seems to cut the requests down...
You want me to prioritise this over (insert another job they want yesterday)?
Worked for me with a boss who wanted everything yesterday and in triplicate but you need to repeat it a few times till they get the idea.
Today I'm seriously in need of a kick up the bum. am wide awake and have been for an hour but can't get going on anything. I should go out for a run but need to eat first, otherwise I'll feel sick but just can't get my backside together to get going. ho hum
This sounds like it could work, but what about when it's several people each asking just one thing of me, then another when I have rushed to get that one done? (& the cycle continues!) They all seem to think what they need me to do is the most important.
Thank you though :T I will be using there wherever possible!

The course I went on was delivered by a guy called Michael Heppell - he's a motivational speaker, and was soooo inspiring - he's written a couple of books one is called "How to be brilliant" and another (do a search on amazon), I would 100% recommend getting the How to be brilliant (out of the library of course
