Sat/Sun 15th/16th January - What small DFW things will you do today?!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Good morning  yay its the weekend and time to relax and please ourselves :j I hope EVERYONE on the thread puts down at least one thing that is soul nurturing and just for fun/happiness! Can we actually believe we're already half way thru Jan????
Anyway thought I'd quickly start us off before the forum is down :rotfl: (I'm like an addict who can't get enough)
hope you all have a fab day & I'll see you on the other side :rotfl:
I have also:

Morning All,
Thanks for starting the thread today Determined enjoy your spa, it sounds lovely!
Hi to all who follow
Off to my delayed works Christmas Do tonight (hoping that I do not get a text to say it’s cancelled)
Today I have/will:
• Checked online banking and worked out how much spare money I will have to go out tonight
• Breakfast and snack’s from home
• Read papers online
• Fill in my WW food diary – yet another spreadsheet
• Need to drink 2l of water
• Need to spend about an hour planning what I want for the year ahead and actually writing it down today (cosmic ordering)
• I will use my national rail card to get a reduced price ticket
• Will treat myself to a coffee while I am mooching around Windsor
• Will walk to bosses house where I am staying (rather than getting a bus/taxi)
• Will treat myself to lunch wile I am out (cheap pub meal)
• Will get a new library book to read on the train and overnight(I tend to wake up early and do not want to disturb my hosts)
• Received my prescription pre-payment card, so need to get £36 reimbursed (that will pay for today)
Think that is about it, have a great day and will post tomorrow

Morning Peeps,
been missing for the last two days as things have been manic so thought better get on here quick this morning before the site shuts down at 9.30am.
I finally managed to get my Mr T voucher from Valued Opinions so will spend that this week when I shop and then take that £10 I would have spent cash on the shopping and put it onto the Debs Card.
Today:- I am going to put a couple of extra hours in on my business
- Taking my gparents out for coffee, however knowing them they will pay so shall have a free coffee
- Come home and get the ironing done
- Dinner of chicken stir fry in order to use up the bag of stir fry in the freezer.
- Then out for famil birthday drinks but have set a budget and myself and OH will have to stick to it. Luckily he is working tomorrow overtime so we wont be out too late like the others.
- Tomorrow off to parents for Roast, yum yum and mum has offered to plate up OH one for when he gets home.
