Thank you for the support guys!
It's not usually as bad as all that, it pays an ok wage, is fairly secure & has some nice people to work with, but it's boring & doesn't make me feel like I'm doing something worthwhile, but this week has just been horrendously stressful! We've had a lady go on maternity leave early, another lady visiting family in India until the end of the month, & others having a day or 2 off so we've been short staffed. Also since there was only 2 people in over Christmas we have had quite a backlog to clear meaning people are continually chasing me for things & there's simply not enough hours in the day to do it all! (No chance of overtime though).
On Friday it came to a head as I seemed to have people coming at me from every direction & nothing I did was good enough, more & more demands were being made of me & I just felt so run down.
I am going to try & adopt DNMS's attitude a bit more & just think that it's a new week soon, so a new start, it will all be ok if I try & stay positive & don't let myself get bogged down by it all! So thank you DNMS for being such an amazingly positive person right now! :T
It's also given me a bit of a shove to get round to thinking more about what I actually want to do with my life careerwise - it's something from my 101 list to not just wish I did something I feel passionate about & enjoy but actually take at least some baby steps to get there, like at least have applied for a course to get me into it.
Anyway thank you again, you're all superstars :iloveyou::idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

Looked after my 7 week old niece last night! DIdn't help either way with my third child decision. Most of the evening i was thinking that perhaps my baby days were done as i enjoy my two being older. But then after she left (i had her 4-10 and got to bath her
) i felt that i couldn't imagine not having another one. Though OHs wish for me to work full time makes me think he doesnt want another...but then i haven't asked him!! Oh the decision still remains.....................

have a big :grouphug: from me. What's going on wth your job? Is it that bad all the time or just going through a rough patch? I do know how you feel as I was like this last summer, crying on the way home from work & having anxiety attacks in the evening about returning the following day, but things have got better for me - so maybe they will for you too? I've also given myself a 4 month window to fall back in love with my job or move on x
your fella sounds lovely :smileyhea
Good advice there.Pernicious wrote: »Thank you for the support guys!

Just a thought but if it is a small group of people asking for you to do job after job after job I have a great line that seems to cut the requests down...
You want me to prioritise this over (insert another job they want yesterday)?
Worked for me with a boss who wanted everything yesterday and in triplicate but you need to repeat it a few times till they get the idea.
Today I'm seriously in need of a kick up the bum. am wide awake and have been for an hour but can't get going on anything. I should go out for a run but need to eat first, otherwise I'll feel sick but just can't get my backside together to get going. ho hum0 -
