Throw in half-a-pound of quality mincesteak and it would sound brilliant :D

Sounds nice will try it out. I've been looking for a decent veggie receipe.
Try not to eat to many processed foods but, in the meantime, if you have a 'Heron' frozen foods near to you, they have nice veggie burgers on offer, 6 for 79p.
Have stocked the freezer up, but when they are gone, i'll try the above, but don't like courgettes, so will look for something else to replace them.

Sorry, but you lost me when you said 'the consistency of play dough'! Would they still work if you left the mixture a bit more chunky, d'you think?

    Ooh, thanks for this!
I'll have to work it out for WW as that's what I'm doing, but as the only pointed things would be the bulgur and chickpeas, they should work out well I reckon, and it's a good recipe nutrition-wise, definately!

Ok, from some recipes found on here, I managed to make my own veggie burgers :D (I was very proud). If I tell you what I did and what I used, can you please advise how I can improve them for next time?

    This is what I used:
    2 x carrots
    1 x red onion
    2 tsp cumin
    2 tsp corriander
    Tin of chickpeas
    Tin of lentils
    Sweetcorn
2 slices of bread for breadcrumbs
    1 egg

All mashed up in the food processor.

    1. I used lots of flour and shaped them into burger shapes - my god it was messy. However I found the mixture quite wet and the shapes were hard to put together - would more breadcrumbs fix this?

    2. I fryed them to cook them, a couple had trouble staying together but no disasters. Did I do the right thing in frying them - could they have been grilled?

    3. Lastly, they tasted fine, however if I was being critical, they could've done with more flavour. Is there anything else I could've added to help this?

My mixture made 9 burgers. I have frozen them now. I assume that I can simply heat individual ones with the grill in the microwave once defrosted?

Many thanks for any tips to improve them ;)

For flavour I'd say a few cloves of garlic, and maybe cumin seeds instead of powder... or you could use some chilli to give them a bit of bite.

    To bind better... plain flour?

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!
