    Write to:

    LTSB
    Customer Relations,
    City Park
    Three City Park
    The Droveway
    Hove
    BN3 7AU

I need to contact their Financial Management department next.

If anyone is struggling, just write some letters, expressing all your concerns. Ask to go to their Consumer debt recovery department. I have chosen not to as intend to Full and Final. I'm hoping all this communication helps my case with a settlement figure.

Hi! It's me from t'other thread... Do you reckon I should write to this address? Did you follow any sort of complaints protocol with the call centre?
  • Hi

Yes by all means write to them. Send it recorded post.

Just complain as you would based on what has happened giving an account of what went on and why it wasn't sorted.

I actually managed to speak to someone at Customer Relations. I've reluctantly agreed to go to Consumer Debt Recovery and basically default now on my agreement.

I could have gone on aother repayment plan but at £200 a month and lower interest it wouldnt have helped too much. I would only have put off the inevitable after 6 further months. I'm trying to negotiate full and finals, in particular on a £13k credit card debt, so this should help with that I expect.

0800 600 6299 was the Customer Relations number I had most joy with.

Thought I would add in here my continued trials and tribulations with Lloyds TSB.

Spoke to someone on phone with regards my complaint amount the mis-communication and conflicting information I receive on the phone or by mail. Made another formal complaint. This year alone I must have written near 10-15 letters relating to complaints or full and final offers. Problem is that be it Brighton, Leeds, Hove, Andover, Newport or Edinburgh no porcess or system seems to link up. Departments don't speak to each other.

Complaints are taken seriously - I'll give them their due with that. Given they are the most complained about bank though you'd expect that! In the past 4 months I've had 2 x £100 cheques of goodwill by means of apology and over £200 in interest refunded.

I now don't know if my Credit Card account (£13k + in debt) is on it's way to Consumer debt recovery or not. I've had a letter confirming I'm making £50 token payments and then one saying my reduced repayment plan of £200 is back in place. Today over the phone though they agreed £60 on the repayment plan whilst I negotiate full and final with the Financial Management Unit. So who knows what I'm actually paying. I fully expect a further f*ck up where they swipe money from my original current account to pay the contractual obligatary amount of the credit card (which they were meant to write to me to confirm was re starting and never!)

Apparently the FMU don't speak to anyone internal or external and want everything in writing. I've made further Full and Final offers to them contacting them in Andover, Brighton and now Edinburgh.

Before anyone has a go - I know I'm struggling. At least I'm not burying my head in the sand. I jus want to try and sort a situation and the bank are making it really difficult for myself and for them to be honest.

Will update with latest installment soon!
