  • The latest is that despite paying £350 for 4 x months when I had in writing that I’d pay £200, they are claiming £50 arrears due to not paying on 1st month as I said. I’ve tried to sort it but they say a change to direct debit (setting up new one and cancelling other) will take 6 weeks so I’ve to pay £350 as normal in February and then make a manual payment of £100 on 1st February. This is more than I can afford! Given I have worked out that I have paid £600 more than I’d planned budgted for this far, I am cancelling the direct debit and will pay £200 in February.
    £29,500+ of debt cleared Jul 2010 >> Dec 2011.....
Now facing same again with £65,000
  • we had another phonecall from them last night asking to sort out the account OH said it was dealt with on Sunday and the bloke on the other end said sorry for wasting our time!!

I am running a sweepstake on how many times they will call this week even though it is supposed to be "sorted out"
  • I'm writing a letter of complaint.

I've cancelled the DD of £350 also. Will pay £200 manually. No doubt I'll have problems with that.

Also, ask them to please pass your debt onto BLS Collections if you think this could go on and on. This way, you can get all interest and charges frozen, and actually decrease the overall debt, instead of watching it go up and up. Tell them that your struggling, and this is all you can pay, no more.

If nothing comes from that, tell them to pass onto BLS (their inhouse dca)

    Good luck
