I'm in a bit of a dilemma this morning, I have an interview this afternoon, the job is about an hour and a half away, as the hours are full time I think that it may cause me problems with childcare in the long run. If the job was closer it would be perfect but the location is causing me a bit of a headache. I don't know what to do. My main concern is that if I do not go to the interview then nothing better may come along!

    Hiya,

You should definitely go to the interview, it's all practice isn't it? And if you do get offered the job you can worry about childcare then. I know it's not ideal but it's worth a go right?

    Good luck,
    Kimberley

PS: It'll also be a massive ego boost if you're offered the job, whether you accept it or not :-)

I agree. Go anyway and see what it's like. If you get offered it then look at the options for childcare. You never know the employer may be able to adjust the working hours to help you.

I've got a job!!! :j It's only for 5 weeks in the summer holiday working with disabled and special needs children at a playscheme but it's better than nothing and great experience for my degree.

Morning all, good luck this week, and a big congratulations to those with job offers :j

Decided not to over prep for my interview on Wednesday, also got sent two job descriptions this morning that look good, taking the stress off a bit.

    No gaffs this week!

Well done everyone with job offers (and uni offers)!

I'm feeling really quite ill today, but I start my temp work so off to Newport I go. I'm glad they got me in last Thurs to go over what I'm doing, makes me far more chilled today! I think it was the right decision to go for this one because on Thurs the permanent job was mentioned a lot so fingers crossed they open the position soon and I get it! Getting my hopes up, really need to learn to stop doing that!
