  • What has added to this is the relationship with the recruiter. She has been very demanding (you must do this, you must say that), took credit for my CV (she did help me with it but merely provided formatting help). I just have this mad mad feeling that she has taken against me and withdrawn me from the job?! She is not in the office today (I just called) but I feel like I have said something that has put her right off. Would a recruiter do that?

I would like to think that the recruiter has not done such a mean thing as withdrawing you from the job.

I don't like recruiters. They are sales people, they don't care about us, they just want to fill a post for their client and pocket the money.

Just got told that I didn't get the second job either. I was the front runner after the first interview apparently but I wasn't assertive enough in the second. The agency told me that the guy who interviewed me seems like a tough nut to crack because they sent three people to that second interview and they haven't been interested in any of us.

Apparently the company haven't hired anyone and are going back to the drawing board, but how can that be true when they needed someone to start on Monday....

Two rejections from interviews in two days just isn't fun.

Awww Drea I'm sorry you didn't get it. Try not to feel too bad, at least we've all survived another week...next week there will be jobs out there with our names on them!!

I don't feel I did too well in my group exercise interview this afternoon, but the manager said she'd be letting everyone know one way or another before the end of the day.

Oh no, that's hard to take!

I wish companies were just a bit easier about taking people on.

Nothing new for me today, going to relax this weekend and get stuff ready for my weekend away next week. So looking forward to it. I hope the weather stays nice and sunny as we are right on the beach.

Tell me about it, they have really high standards that sometimes just can't be met! I have had the exact same job experience as this one and that isn't easy to find in their industry. So it's a real blow.

Oh don't say things like that, you're worrying me now! It's horrible just now for us all and I wish someone would give us a break but it HAS to get better at some point.
