I use direct gov, s1 jobs and total jobs. I don't use any agency ones as I find they don't bother getting back to me, or send me snotty e mails saying I don't have the relevant experience, when its clear they obviously haven't even looked at my cv. Are there any other half decent ones?

Im lucky in that for the moment I don't have to sign on as I am on IS. If I did, I would probably be sanctioned as there just arent any jobs to apply for here.

Today has been awful. Not a single job to apply for. I am so ridiculously bored, I haven't even been sent any surveys today, so have literally been refreshing the job sites all day since 7am. It's driving me mad!

Just got another phone call so that's two interviews tomorrow and one on Wednesday it's coming back around now!

I think I've blown my interview this afternoon. I gave a really stupid answer to one of the question - for some reason I always think if better answer on the way out. Anyway I've got another interview on the 20th for a better paid job closer to where I live so looking on the bright side.

I went to sign on this morning and the woman who signed my card said I had done well to find as many jobs to apply for as I had in the past week (I only managed five) and admitted that there is hardly anything about. She looked on the computer and instead of giving me something really inappropriate to apply for like last time admitted that she hadn't got anything apart from one post that I applied for last week.

At least the sun's still shining (but only just here!).

You need to get away from it and do something else this is not healthy.

November5th

Been put up for job, have interview time sent, then recruiter asked for details of my qualification for her cover not. I only have five olevels and have been trained by companies or self taught for my skills. Will this be a problem?
