Things have definitely got worse in the last couple of weeks. Up to last Monday I had been applying for 2 or 3 jobs a day, last week it was just 3 jobs in total, this week nothing so far. I didn't think it was possible for things to get any worse

same for me, not seen many to apply for, although i do need to apply for a couple of jobs for job seekers,

plus im seeing jobs that are advetised twice on the same site plus jobs that are advertised on other sites

ive thought of starting own business but its what in, only idea ive had so far is window cleaning but theres enough of them around here so thats really feasible,

Ok here's my secret, I've been in touch with the Princes Trust about starting my own events/wedding planning business. I have a day course with them on the 19th to go over how they can help and I'm hoping to get a grant to do a qualification. It might not go anywhere, but it's giving me something to do at least!

Just on my way back from my interview, I got given a "pitch" just explaining who I was and why I was phoning and then was given a sheet with benefits and features and was to try and sell them to the interviewer. It felt a bit awkward sat there in front of them! I don't think it went terribly but to be honest, not sure either way.

Got an interview later too, not sure if it's a "real" job or not, it's a Marketing/Events Sales company and I had a quick look at their website, it sounds like it's going to be one of those commission only with no training type places. I'll go along and see but not holding out much hope! Job title was Events Assistant... but there are a lot of scams around.

Really? They haven't been updated for 2 weeks? Which websites? I admit there are days when I can maybe only find one job to apply for (yesterday was the first day with none) but I can certainly see jobs in other industries everyday.

Wow I did some volunteering for them a few years ago and I didn't even know they did things like that. I'm going to look into it this afternoon!
