    Hey everyone!

I am going to be unemployed as of the 31st of March, I am moving 170 miles away and starting a fresh with my little one.

I am looking for jobs in that area now and have applied for a few, but some things are really starting to bug me about job hunting!

When it says "Good Rates" of pay - well I'd like to know what it is please so that I can determine whether its worth my time applying.....

When it doesnt state how many hours it's for! I also need to know that so I can decide if its worth applying for!

Sorry went off on a rant there!

But does any one else find these things annoying? Searching for a job has to be one of the most depressing things around.

On a positive note it was a lovely day today! :rotfl::rotfl:

Well i had routes to work registration & got a call from them today saying care job in, so gonna apply done it before so experience might help. Nothing suitable on jobcentre or s1jobs or the other 10 or so sites i search lol. I went onto Mc Donalds, Asda, Morrisons, Sainsburys, sportsshops, homebase & pets at home websites ect but nothing in my area, seen cleaning job but dont have cscs card - so got onto Routes to work if i apply for ila card, they can put me through the course & all i pay is tenner. So something going right way, just need to wait till next training day comes up which could be 6 weeks, but hopefully ill have job by then. fingers crossed. Cheers for reading this & goodluck to all fellow jobseekers on here......

Just done ila apllication online, so might get couple of short courses out of it, if no work turns up before that. Worth a try. And routes to work posting out application tonight for support worker. :):)

So i had the call confirming 2 days work. So happy, not great pay but still worth the effort as its only a few days, really looking forward to it :)

Haven't done work like this in a while though so just hope i do a good job, and with creative work thats quite subjective.
I'm working Saturday and Monday and with other plans i've got quite a busy 7 days ahead which will be good as i've had so much time on my hands lately.

Well hello again. So after someone breaking into our house we got the police and forensics around, and we got the key for the 2nd lock on our door. But the Letting Agent charged £30 for each key!!! Including his key!! (so 6 keys in total!) I'm going to a key cutters to ask how much it should be, I think he's ripped us off, I wish I had talked to him. If it seems he's ripped us off I'm going to ask for his invoice and try and get some money back (or pay less rent next time). Out LA is a money hungry idiot. I don't think he cared that anyone broke in, just that we'Anyway on the job front I'm still at this job till the end of the week and working half day Wednesday at the other job I was at and up until the following Friday - if we don't work too fast and finish all our work by then lol. So at least I'm bringing in some money to pay for new things and insurance!!!ve caused him inconvenience.

Oh the last part of my post disappeared, so on the job front I'm at this one to the end of the week. Then working from Wednesday onwards till the following Friday providing we're not too quick and finish our work before then. So at least I have money coming in to pay for the replacements and insurance (my mum gave me £100 for 'soften the blow' :D

    Morning all,

Well I was still awake at 5.00 am this morning. Did you know insomnia can be caused by stress? I wonder what I have to be stressed about in my life?

Had to get up as I have an appointment at the job centre at 10.20 (I bet you're all really jealous!) for my stage 3 initial review, whatever that is. I've filled out my questionaire, printed out my applications since the start of February and got my rejection letters and emails ready. What's the betting they don't even look at them....

Another gorgeous day here in South Wales, lets all try and be positive today (I know it's not easy). All together now "Today is my day, today is my day, today is my day

Catch you all later, have a good day.
