"So in reality the only ways to watch without a licence are PC and console for non live content."

Or on your phone (like I sometimes do)

If you re-read my post you would see I was entirely "straight" What I said was just a statement of fact. It was you who for some reason seemed to be able to understand that.

Not sure you still do to be honest.

It is a statement of fact it is illegal to watch TV programs without a TV licence also.

It's an easy game to play not being specific is it not.

    But your quote.

Oh my word - wrong again.

It is perfectly possible to legally watch TV programes without the need for a licence.

"forced to buy a TV licence" - how absurd:D

To watch Live TV, Sky, Freesat, Virgin, Freeview record TV you are forced to by a TV licence, not that absured really.

It is entirely dependent on the content you want to watch. I even stated you need a licence to watch some downloaded content 3 pages ago.
But to me does not mean you can watch TV programs without a licence, it means you can watch some programs without a licence.

Ooh, here we go, we're off again. :D

Very good, the only problem with your "fact" is that it is not one.;)

    Whereas this, my original post

"It is perfectly possible to legally watch TV programmes without the need for a licence. " is a fact.

Once you can figure out what is a fact and what is just your opinion then you might start getting somewhere.

I never suggested anywhere that you could watch "All TV Programs"

    Why do you ask?

So If I plug my telly in tune it, and watch it is that not illegal? I never stated how:). So you will find it is true or false depending of the context of how it is done.

As vague as some others point's I will think you will find.

It is all down to how you do it, you can't watch all TV without a licence, that is a fact.

I never suggested it was illegal to watch online.

Infact before you went on about all this I clearly stated.

No it's not you need a licence to receive any TV signal. Even if you don't have one connected to an arial. If it is tuned in to a channel and receives a fuzzy signal you need a licence.
The only way you can't is if it is DVD's or recorded content. But if someone records for you and you don't have a licence they can be done for copyright and you would have to prove you did not record it. (so basically get someone done for copyright)

You also need a Licence to watch some online content.

    Shame you missed that.;)

Like I said it is illegal to watch TV programs without a licence it is true, it is as clear as your point. I can give you examples if you want.
I can be just as difficult as you, you know people have been done for watching TV programs without a licence so it must be true.
I know people can watch online without a licence.
It's a pain when people are obstructive and petty isn't it.

But glad we are all clear now.
