My resposne to eating Vegetables would reult in a Red Card.

I imagine once veg is cooked and prepared (generally by boiling, sieving), any tiny mites or bugs are pretty much dead. The nearest I get to veg is chips, I am pretty confident after peeling and chopping a potato, then deep frying it, there are no bugs in it
If you have access to a place that sells kosher food, the insects will have been removed from the produce beforehand. Possibly the same for halal.0 -

my misses brought some basil the other day my daughter wants to return it as it smells and tastes of basil LOL Also she was very cross as on the roots in the pot she found earth.
BTW this is tongue in cheek, as we own 2 allotments and have found all sorts of creepy crawlies when we pick our own veg.
