I feel exactly the same.
I like some of those brown cars...and live where mud is eveywhere, so brown would be a bonus here!0 -

I remember seeing brown Novas on the roads when I was too young to drive.
I would choose a brown car. I don't buy based on colour, just whatever is out there when I'm looking for a new (used) car within my (low) budget. :cool:0 -
I bought a ' B reg' brown nova saloon for £75 last year and when i drove it i thought to my self someone paid a lot of money for this in 1984 or when ever b reg is was a gl high spec one so it had a clock, cig lighter, and side air vents and a stereo - we love the 80s0

The nearest I've been to owning a brown car was a Vauxhall Senator Mk2 in Carnelian Red (really a bronze metallic).0

I once bought a brown Mk2 Astra for £100, however the VIN colour code claimed it was burgundy and a quick check on the inside of the door frame confirmed that this was once the case.
Should I have updated the logbook from red to brown even though the car had never been resprayed?
Doubt you'd have needed to. Burgundy is pretty similar to brown. And you could argue it is closer to brown than red.0 -
i would always call burgundy brown0
