Would you ever buy a brown car?!

Saw this article on brown cars -

http://www.carbuzz.co.uk/blog/post/Brown-Cars.aspx

And wondered if anyone would consider buying one?!

Some of the cars in the photos look quite nice, but I'm not sure I would dare. It says that they will depreciate quicker than normal colours as well.

We used to have a Brown Cortina. Was quite a while ago mind you. :) My last one was beige - that was it's actual official colour. It makes a change from silver.

Most of those cars are bronze metallic, not really brown.
  • It suits the Merc and the Mini Clubman but not the others.

Dunno about brown but I'd certainly never buy a red one after seeing so many faded examples driving around. :)

Some look more like a goldy brown, I do not like the colour myself so I would never get one, they look too weird.
