My final verdict is that they are not necessarily a scam company, but that as people are falling over themselves to work for them, they just take and take and take, and offer very little in return. Although they do pay higher than NMW by a long way, you must wait more than 30 days to receive it, and they will do as much as possible to pay you less than they owe.
...For their lack of organisation, long wait before payment, and tricks to get out of paying, I think there are better work from home opportunities out there.
Completely agree Sammy. It's ridiculous the amount of time we have to wait to get paid, read up on all materials in our own time and we can't even speak to them directly if we have a problem.
Sent them an email nearly a forthnight ago, chased them up again a recently but haven't heard a single thing. I've not even been able to do any work for the past 3 weeks because of all the problems so I'm waiting to get paid and I'm going to voluntarily leave.
I would like to be able to say that it has been good while it lasted but it really hasn't been.
I know people especially over the other side of the world have been working on the programme for a while so for any newbies wanting to join, please do not let me discourage you from applying. I am simply expressing my concerns which I have also done with Lionbridge. I'll probably change my tune once I receive a reply but I can't see it happening as they were good at emailing back quickly when I first started but has since deteriorated to appalling recently.0 -
Hmmmm, the jury is still out for me!! I'm in an unfortunate position of not having much choice at the moment so am trying to enjoy it as much as I can.............I try not to get to worked up about expectations etc..........I just do what I can, the best that I can and hope for the best. What I WOULD like is some recompense............I started mid-March and am still waiting for any kind of monetary gain............has anyone received pay for March yet? I'm assuming it's due about now for beginners??
PS My daughter is convinced that there is someone somewhere just laughing at us all!0 -

I think today is payment day however I remember reading somewhere that it says we should expect it to take 3-5 working days after the payment date for the payments to reach our accounts. Therefore Im not expecting to receive anything until next week sometime
I still havent had my April timesheets approved; they've told me they are 'under review' and Ill hear by the end of the week. Seeing as I received a 4 star rating for my first rating in April I thought I was doing ok so I dont now understand the problem with approving the pay ? Theyve approved my new starter bonus, which overlapped some of the same period, so dont really understand ? Guess Ill just have to wait to hear back from themProud to be dealing with my debtsDebt at Light Bulb Moment (January 2011): £21,953Debt at current level (Nov 2013): £4,567.50Debt free wanabee date: Dec 2014 :j0 -
I'm another one waiting to get paid before I resign. I've not had my April timesheet approved yet either, and I also got a 4 star rating so can't understand what the problem is. I've not worked at all this month - I'm not giving them any more of my time. This company and this job are a joke.0

and No !
Last month I got an email on 12/03 (at just gone 4pm) and payment was in my account on 14/03. So I am hoping we may get one later today perhaps?
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO TAKE TIME TO POST COMPETITIONS

Well, I've still not been paid from March. Today I've received an email to tell me that my productivity for April was very low and that my time sheet has been rejected. Tough. Those were the hours that I did and I'm not changing it for anyone...!
I only started towards the end of March, so my April productivity was whilst still a beginner.
That's it for me, I'm not doing any more work for them until they've paid me for the work already done.0 -
Same here! I started the last week in March, had my March time sheet approved but the April one has just been rejected. I'm still not quite upto the required productivity levels, but have been getting quicker week by week - so much for giving new raters 6 weeks to get upto speed! I got 4 stars for April aswell so was hoping I was doing ok.....Think thats it for me and Lionbridge, wasted too unpaid time on it already what with reading guidelines, webinars, quizzes and certification tests!0

I am another who has has the April t/sheet back, I know I haven't met their requirements but it's still so unfair. The time I submitted is the time I spent so not sure whether to resubmit it as it is or reduce the time and resubmit - argh!!! If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0

Hmm, seems to be quite a few of us with the rejected time sheets then: is this their way of making us work for a lot less per hour than they offer I wonder? I only charge them quite literally the time I work for them. Loo breaks, cup of water break, not a second of that was charged and, if I worked for anyone else, they would be charged for that.
I will not be changing my time sheet. I worked those hours, I expect to be paid for them. I did not sign up for piece work, I signed up for an hourly rate.
Not at all happy with this company.0
