Just finished my second test. Could anyone tell me how long till you get the results?

Heya, I found the following quote for you from the email I received regarding my exam a couple of months ago.

"You will not know the final result for Part II until after your exam due date. Please note this can take up to 4 hours for the final result to be sent out)."

Hey, just found this add on on firefox that might come in helpful for raters. Im on a mac so cant use the tool that I think most people use.

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/simple-timer/

Its a timer that stays on the bottom right of your browser. I tend to have an excel sheet open with the different task types, start a task, start timing and when im done put the time in beside the task. Do this throughout the day then add up the times. Finally at the end of the day look at 'all history', filter by name and count up the tasks.

I used to do a lot on paper but this has saved me a lot of time! Hope it comes in handy for some of you raters! :)

But if you use a mac you can't use the software, luckily I can run it through paralells on windows 7, but many won't be able to.
  • Yeah Sam I had a play round with vnc viewer and a few other things but have not got the knack of using the more advanced things! Only got a mac a little while back so lots to get playing with!

Gemma, like I mentioned 'Im on a mac so cant use the tool that I think most people use.' so just a heads up for any others that can't get it working! :)

can you chhange the bank account you submited during the application stage? i think barclays charges a high amount for receiving payments, though I can't find anywhere on their website where they say what it is?

Nor can i find anywhere on the rater hub for bank details either.

I run it in a virtulised environment on my mac, but if your not very good with the technical side it could be a little difficult.

Yeah you can change your bank account... it's not on the hub, it's on the bit where you do your timesheets - under "Vendor Bank Details Update" - it's a bit fiddly but I managed it a couple of weeks ago. Bear in mind you may not be able to change it close to payday.

As for Barclays I was under the impression they didn't charge as long as the transfer used IBAN/BIC - have definitely read this on their website somewhere but am at work now so can't log in.
