    Same here!
  • Same here, phew! Does anyone know if HSBC charge to receive payments? My branch had no idea, and no idea how to find out either! Can't find the info on their website either, as it seems to be geared around opening a Euro account.

This is what I got from HSBC by e-message - I posted it a while ago on here:
Please note the charge deducted by HSBC UK for sterling payment payable to your sterling account from anywhere in the world:

    Over GBP100 GBP6 per transfer

Foreign currency payment payable to your account held in the same currency as the payment:

    Over GBP100 equivalent - GBP6 per transfer
Clean Euro payment from EU under EUR50,000 - quoting BIC & IBAN - Free

Payment payable to your account held in a different currency from that of the payment:

I apparently am suitable to take an exam! I applied on Match 25th, had an email yesterday saying I needed to update my education history (probs as I had only put I was studying for a degree and hadn't included my a levels and gcses) and today I signed the Agreements etc. So people are saying they send an invitation for an exam after a week or so? Would be rather good timing as I'll be off to my parents for a few days for antenatal checks and I will be bored!
    Money money money.

They gave me a date of Wednesday 13th April for the material to come through
