Anyone else taking Lionbridge Exam next week?

I think they are probably being honest about the quota - although I did notice they still have the UK as open on their site as of yesterday.
I originally applied in October last year and received the same email. When they said they would keep my details on file I did assume this meant "the bin!".
However in January I got an email to ask if I was still interested and that they had started recruiting again. As the maximum contract is for 11 months then I would assume that they must recruit fairly often so hopefully you won't have too long to wait until it is open again.

Well that reassures me a little. Just have to wait and hope for the best then. Fingers crossed.

Just got both emails. Trying to sort out my bank details atm , I have 2 accounts I could use so trying to find out which one would charge me least ot nothing!

Have also been reading through some stuff on the portal and intend starting rating tomorrow. I don't want to say too much about things because of the nda but it would be nice to talk to others as some thigs are confusing and trying to figure everything out on your own is taxing!

Can someone tell me what exactly the payment/transfer method is called so when I ask my banks what the charges are I get it right? cheers

Hi Tabath, I'm new too so was reading all the stuff online today. I found the 'webinar' the most reassuring thing on there, having someone talk you through it. I'm going to try and start rating on Friday as I'm out tomorrow.

Does the ten hour minimum apply to us on our first week?!

It's really quiet in here.. where did everybody go?

Aw, I've done some research about Leapforce and I found out you can work as many hours as you want and the rate of pay is a lil bit better. Is that right?

yes, when does the week "start"? if you are brand new, how many hours do you need to do by the end of the week?

The weeks runs Monday to Sunday, I think on my first week I got everything through and got going on a Thursday and only managed about 5 or 6 hours because of lots of reading!

Good morning everyone

Well, i was having a look at my feedback on the portal yesterday and was a little bit worried. I was given a selection of 17 type 5 tasks that i have done in April and 4 of them had fail next to them.

Just wanted to compare with everyone else, is this bad news for me??

I was having a look on another forum that talked alot about people being let go. I'm not going on that forum again though as it just made me worry.

The task availability is a little bit strange at the moment, ive not been getting any type 1 tasks even though there seem to be loads of them.

Anyway, hope you are all well.

Oh and good luck to all the new raters that have just started and those taking the exam.
