If it's paid from the US, I wonder why it's in Euros and not dollars? Although given the current exchange rate, payment in USD would be peanuts. :(

Good luck with the exam. The euro was worth around 91p before Christmas, now it's only worth 82p. That means the value of our payments will go down.

Some people posted in this thread wondering if they would be taken on for longer than 11 months, I think you will find that will not happen as Lionbridge do not want a chance of you being classed as an employee of theirs.. and them having subsequent employer responsibilities. So they will ditch you a month before this possibility occurs.

Someone mentioned that another person was with Lionbridge for 2 years or so, that would probably because you had to have worked for longer to have greater employee rights and since then a subsequent government has changed the rules.. expect this to change again in the near future and then we may see people being taken on for 1 year 11 months by Lionbridge?

Just something I thought about in my head the other day.

Has anyone ever been let go after 11 months, and then successfully gone back to Lionbridge a few months later?

Somewhere amongst all the information I was given to read, or maybe it was in a webinar, they said the initial contract was for 11 months and after that it may be renewed if your work is satisfactory.

Are you in UK or US? Last time I didn't get approval on time it's cause it was rejected and it took almost a month to get my check. Hope this is not the case
