It's the opposite for me - started off with 2, then two 3's and today my first 5 star!
My money usually goes in a couple of days after the 12th.0 -
For the people noticing a difference in their star ratings this month, have you been doing any of the training? I noticed that the star rating guidance has now changed and it says it is based on accuracy at tasks and participation in training. Ive consistently had 4&5s since starting rating 6 months ago and suddenly this month Ive got my first 3, but I havent done any training this month (not been specifically invited to any either but not done any of the web stuff) although ive never really done any since the first month or so. Ive emailed them to ask whether this is the reason behind the drop in my rating and how much training they expect a rater to do to maintain a good rating so will see if they reply. But wondered what other raters experiences are?
if youve seen your rating shoot up, did you do a lot of the training exercises, videos etc? If your rating has dropped, have you not done any/much?Proud to be dealing with my debtsDebt at Light Bulb Moment (January 2011): £21,953Debt at current level (Nov 2013): £4,567.50Debt free wanabee date: Dec 2014 :j0 -
I did no training this month, got 4 stars.0

My star ratings have gone 2,3,4,5,3,4,3...I've not changed anything about the way I rate but there seems to be less of the type 5 and test type tasks over the past few months which is what they do their QAs on so suspect their is a lot of weight put on the training and webinars. But there's only so many type 5 webinars you can attend and get any value from!0

Is anyone else having problems when trying to acquire new tasks / submitting a task? I keep getting a blank screena nd takes about 4 attempts of refreshing to get it to load any content.0

I'd also noticed the star rating guidance had changed and I have been trying to do lots of the training, especially the webinars - though I was a little worried about the number of those I was invited to! I did the new type 5 quiz, still waiting for feedback for that, but haven't done many of the videos etc.. I get the feeling that they want us to be seen to be trying to improve our rating constantly by doing all the available learning. At least when there's NRT it's an opportunity to do that and not feel like we should be working.0

After the first few months of rating I didnt really find I learnt much from the training. I guess I just felt because I was getting 4&5 stars I didnt really need the training. Guess they dont necessarily see it that way !! Suppose as I cant get tasks to work at the moment I should do some now, just to keep them happy !!:oProud to be dealing with my debtsDebt at Light Bulb Moment (January 2011): £21,953Debt at current level (Nov 2013): £4,567.50Debt free wanabee date: Dec 2014 :j0 -
Hi guys,
Just registering as self employed with the HMRC and have a few (dummy) questions!
The address you register the 'business' to- is that just your home address? Im at my parents and I dont want them getting into any trouble because I'm using their house as a 'business'..
Also, it asks if Im doing all my work for one firm and their address- did people just give Lionbridge HQ?
Sorry, Im rubbish with tax stuff!
PM me if u dont want to talk about it openly.
Thank you0
