I just worked it out and I'm paying about 4.25% charges (including £2 charge and their rip off exchange rate)

Does anyone have any good solutions to this problem? Anyone know the bank with the best exchange rates?

I'm with Barclays and they don't charge me. :)
  • Has anybody received the Certification Tasks bonus yet, or received notification that it will be paid? When the Cert Test was launched it said once you'd done over X amount of Cert-related test types there would be bonus payment.

I reckon I did enough to qualify in August so I'm guessing any bonus will be included in that months settlement, anybody got theirs for June/July?
  • I was invoiced about 4 days after the August invoice, so I assume they are holding on to it until the pay run.

Hi had an email tonight to say that they have reached their quota but will keep my application on file and contact me when there are vacancies. Is this a polite way of telling me no, or has anyone actually been accepted after this type of email?

I'm with HSBC and they don't charge. They even send me a letter detailing the exact exchange rate they used.
  • Wow can't believe this thread is still going lol :D Good luck to all the new applicants!!

I applied last October and received the same email. I then got "recruited" in February so they do actually contact you when positions next become available :)
