I have just looked at another forum and it appears it is a widespread problem
Someone was saying they couldn't get on at all yesterday either.

I was having this problem yesterday. I found that after I finished a task and submitted it I would then get a blank screen. Rather than refreshing it or using the 'start working' link I closed the page and then opened the rating homepage from a bookmark and that seemed to allow me to do another task, altho it would then refer back to the blank screen when I pressed submit and I would just reopen the task page again.
it was bloomin annoying tho! gave up after an hour or so.0 -
Glad it wasnt just me then! It was awful, and Id sat down especially to get a few hours in (as Im well below target this month).0

Hi all..
I've been rating for a couple of months now but have had a shakey start what with being away for 2 weeks in my first month and the kids off for the 2nd month so timewise I'm down.. just got my first quality award of 2 stars and am starting to feel really nervous...
Any seasoned raters out there had shakey starts similar to mine and still going strong...? How do you plan your time... do you tend to do large blocks of time or 15mins here or there throughout the day? Any tips would be great, I'm intending to get lots of quizzes and videos done/watched to improve my skills set but that is more time on top of the hours I have to get done so any time management tips would be greatly appreciated!
KLife....mmmm....still trying to figure that one out but what I do know is if I had all the answers it'd be a hell of a lot easier!!!!!!:p0 -
Argh - finally get the portal back up and running. 1 1/2 hrs work and now NRT. It is going to be a good week (not!).
Knonie - I started off with 2 stars in my first month, then 3 stars for a couple of months and then since then have either got 4 or 5 stars every month. I have been rating since February. Most of the tasks get easier over time but I still struggle with some of them (type 5 mainly!). Time wise - I aim to do 10hrs a week so do 2hrs per weekday and tend to do it all in one go. I have not managed the 10hrs per week for the last 2/3 months due to holiday/childcare over the summer/NRT. So far I have not had any communication from them to say there is a problem with this. I assume as there is quite a bit of NRT around at the moment they must accept that people may not be able to do the minimum hours normally required.
Good luck

Thanks Fro-ald..
I really want to make a go of this as most of the income I make will be paying off the dreaded credit card but it really has been hard over the holidays.. my two are 6 years and 10mths so are quite demanding in their own way and as you'll appreciate trying to entertain them both, maintain order with regards to housework and battle the dreaded NRT, it is REALLY tricky!!!
Glad you struggle with Type 5 too - there's a seminar this week so am hoping to p/u some extra tips!!Life....mmmm....still trying to figure that one out but what I do know is if I had all the answers it'd be a hell of a lot easier!!!!!!:p0 -
Hi had an email tonight to say that they have reached their quota but will keep my application on file and contact me when there are vacancies. Is this a polite way of telling me no, or has anyone actually been accepted after this type of email?0

I've had the same email. They'll let me know if they're recruiting again in the UK.Don't mess with pensioners. :cool:0

I just worked it out and I'm paying about 4.25% charges (including £2 charge and their rip off exchange rate)
Does anyone have any good solutions to this problem? Anyone know the bank with the best exchange rates?0
