Happy new week guys. I didn't have spag bol tonight in the end. I did have the spaghetti, but quickly knocked up just a simple spicy tomato sauce with some prawns in, to go with it. Anyhoo...

Saturday - L: think we are having soup, but I don't want to do too much cooking, so it's a case of each picking which can we want while in the shop that morning :o. D: we are going out, and I'm being treated, it's part of my Christmas present. Yay!

Sunday - L: chicken & mushroom risotto. D: veg soup and bread.

Monday - L: sandwich. D: beef stew, mash and veg.

Tuesday - L: sandwich. D: chicken in Chicken Tonight sauce, with rice and broccoli.

Wednesday - L: LO chicken in sauce and rice. D: corned beef hash & mash.

Thursday - L: sandwich. D: broccoli & pea cheesy pasta bake.

    Friday - L: LO pasta bake. D: three-bean chilli & garlic bread.

Saturday - L: thinking of throwing together just a quick portion of pea soup. D: maybe burger and chips, with peas and mushroom. Haven't had that for a while.

Sunday - L: currently is scrambled egg on toast. D: spaghetti carbonara.
  • Didn't quite stick to last weeks meal plan as the chicken stretched to an extra couple of meals. Now means I have mince and fish fingers for next week which I didn't use :D

    Hi everyone,

Did quite well to stick to last weeks, although I did forget to leave something out of the freezer one night and since I didn't get home until 7pm, I caved in and bought a take away. Just shared as sweet & sour chicken between the 2 of us though so not too bad.

    This week is as follows:

Sat - Salmon Teriyaki (hubby cooking - I have bought ingredients and shall provide him with a recipe!)
Sun - Roast Chicken, Mash, Cabbage & Carrots
    Mon - Pasta Bolognese
    Tue - Chicken Fajitas
Wed - Chicken & Broccoli Pasta
    Thu - Prawn Stir Fry
Fri - Smoked Salmon & Cheese Pasta
Sat - Mushroom Risotto (hubby cooking - it's my NY resolution to get him to cook one weekend night!)
Sun - Roast Turkey (reduced at Christmas and taking up too much room in freezer!)

Lunches are Sandwiches, Soup (Lentil & Bacon/Potato & Leek)
Breakfasts are Cereal, Toast, Eggs at weekend
