Hope your weather stayed good for the weekend Bob - we had gorgeous blue skies and sunshine all day on saturday but it drizzled a lot yesterday afternoon.

Yes it was lovely weather, very exhausting but good fun. Sorry not really had time for updates but hope to get more time soon.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Well there was me thinking i would be personally debt free this month..
Fate, however dealt me an unfair blow:o
Arrived home from work to find a notification from the Tax credit people to say we owed them £1000 in overpayment. Obviously i was straight on the phone to argue about this..it also turns out that we owe them £500 from last year:mad::mad: Considering we didn't receive any Tax credits last year, i am completely stumped as to how we owe that.
The lady went through everything and agreed that we had done everything correctly in informing them of income changes along the way etc..( i was told last year that overpayments were cleared from last years tax credits - as in not receiving ) but they didn't calculate until my final income in april..hence the almighty !!!! up.
Oh and not only that, but they now use Experian to check identities as well and ask you about Data for verification purposes, such as how much your mortgage payment is a month. I was totally flabbergasted ..so completely and utterly p*eed off would be the understatement of the year.
I have set up a payment plan until i can gather resources to pay it off..but i am just so upset about the moment i have been waiting for for ages.:o
I am going to stuff my face with fattening things to alleviate the stress.:eek:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
