Here goes
Plot 1
Currently housing Red and white onions, garlic, broad beans, raddish, spring onions, parsnips, cut and come again lettuce, purple sprouting brocauli, pak choi, turnips and aspasagus
The bags along the side of the greenhouse have spuds in them.
Plot 2
Caulis under the pop bottles, 4 rows of carrotts, one of parsnips lettuce and beetroot
Plot 3 was to be a strawberry bed but I have so many veg seedlings that I might leave that idea until next year.
Phew that was tramatic. The 17 year old now thinks I am a right dinosaur.I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order.

Why are the caulis under pop bottles please?
I wish I had a bigger garden
Bit jealous of all you with space for loads of bits.Herman - MP for all!0 -
Planted the caulis a week before the netting went up and I had pigeons sat on my roof watching me plant them so they went under the pop bottles for protection. Only had plot 1 last year and the cheeky blighters were sat on the fence next to me when I was planting the sprouts. No doubt they were waiting for me to have a tea break so that they could have a snack break .I am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order

Don't worry I've only got a little garden but manage to squeeze all sorts of things in.
For a little inspiration look at what this guy managed:

Very nice indeed, thanks for sharing.
Your lawn looks nice too. Looks to be almost all grass. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

I have this saved in my favourites.Every time I read someone being told they can't really grow x,y or z in such and such a space, I go look at this chap's site.

I have this site bookmarked too. If I keep adding sites (and how can I resist all the great gardening sites around), I shall have to start making some sub folders - I'm running out of space in my gardening favorites folder! If I'm over the hill, where was the top?0 -
Thanks MBE. The lawn had had weed and feed/moss killer on it and had beenscarified aweek before thes epictures. Unfortunatly a close up would show that there is still a lot of moss in it.
There appears to be some parsnips comming up in plot 2. Hopefully there will be more than the 5 that came up in the row in plot 1.
Have come home from a hot shift wearing a uniform and plastic gloves/aprons and it's too hot to gardenI am playing all of the right notes just not necessarily in the right order.

Behind the shed:
And the greenhouse:
And in between:
That was a nightmare. Spent most of the day slowly dragging rubble out with a hoe.
Two bootloads taken to the tip, at least one more to go tomorrow.
There's probably loads more under the soil I've uncovered, but there's no way I'm
going looking for more.
As and when I get a spare bit of soil, I'll backfill that area, and once I eventually
get some comfrey, that's where it's going. It'll either grow or it won't.
At lease that's a job I'll never have to do again. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
Tomorrow I need to paint a coat of sealant on the new side thingy, and repot the toms & chillies.
Can't see me doing much more than that - my back is protesting rather loudly. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0
