Oh, sorry - attention span of a butterfly I'm afraid.
Your kale "tree" is flowering well too. Are you planning on turning the stem into a walking stick later?

Because you are directly responsible for these:
"Cracked" in the propagator according to instructions. It's a bit late now, so they'll overnight on the windowsill before going into the greenhouse tomorrow.
If they die it's your fault.
Good-o
When you pop them in the greenhouse, make sure you pop some organic slug pellets in the tray that you sit them on - just in case you have slugs.
They'll be fine!
If they aren't - you can have a couple of my gherkin plants. If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -

Yes, don't know whether to be disappointed or not. Apparently, in the second season they can grow taller, if they don't run to seed. So it will have to come out (but I'm going to let the bees have their money's worth out of the flowers first), and I'll have a go at making a stick.
Might be a bit short - depends how spongy the top is.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

Ok, I need a few suggestions please. What can I do with this bit?
It's horrible. Choked with weeds, no real soil just stones & sharp sand. That bit alongside the house should have a new roof and doors on Monday, if the fencer turns up. I'm betting he will, as I haven't paid him for the fence yet.
I've cleared it today so at least it looks better (can't do the bit by the posts until the concrete mix has set):
Firstly I need stop the weeds coming through again. But then what do I do with it? There's an inspection cover there, so I can't block that off. I did think about just putting the tubs there, as it does get a lot of sun. All I really want is not to have to clear it again. Why don't you put weed suppressant down (the black stuff), and get some dockeys (rockery stones) and chuckies (ornamental stones) and make a heather garden. You can always stick in the likes of crocus and mini daffies (daffodils) there for colour in the spring.
This way you get colour but don't really need to do much else with it. Does this help?0 -
Like the new fence. Looks like it will last (unlike the one we had 2 years ago which is already swaying
). I'd say gravel and pots for your little "problem area" as you need access through that side bit I presume. Make it big gravel though if you have cats in the neighbourhood or it will be one big toilet. Or you could get/make one of those "grass trays" designed to fit over manhole covers.
