I appear to have tomatoes. Um....0

If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0

I have 20! &
Repotted my peppers yesterday - finally noticed that they have flower buds on them!:j Seems a little late in the year though, so don't know how long it'll take or whether I'll be successful getting any fruit.
I am relieved to say my tom plants still haven't died (yet). I am cautiously hopeful that the blight has missed me this year (so far at least) & pray I'll get some crops! A few bunches. Progress seems quite slow, but I am an impatient so&so!
Peas have given up the ghost, so I've pulled them up. I'll have another go next year.
Carrots in tubs are doing ok (I think). Spring onions have also kicked on the past week & are due for harvesting.
my beetroot are also ready for harvest. I'll be pickling mine for christmas, but everyone I know is telling me to roast them saying it is delish.
I also need to start picking beans this week, as the bean plants are now going for it!
I also planted a fresh batch of lettuce.
Had a bowls match saturday, & at the side of the green the LL of the pub was growing HUUUUUGE onions! They were almost as big as a football. Made me feel quite inadequate about mine...:oIt's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Take consolation from the fact that onions like that are useless for anything other than showing. They end up very "chewy". We've been given onions from a show before and all we could do was make onion soup with them and even that wasn't very special.0 -
My plum tree has got that much fruit on it that a huge branch snapped off over the weekend.
Will the fruit still ripen or shall I get rid of it altogether.
At the moment I have left the fruit on the branches.
Any advice would be appreciated.0 -
Thanks to the help I received from this forum, one of our cucumbers is 16 inches long (41cm)! Do we let it grow more or will it be best to pick it now? Have had loads of mini ones. Tomatoes seem to be coming along a treat, as do the peppers, chillis and aubergines.

I don't know. I'd guess they won't ripen, but don't know much about fruit trees. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

It's such a shame there is so much fruit on it.0 -
