Hi all, been away again - ill this time though.:(
Anyhows, I finally have toms & beans!:j Only arrived this week though.
Fay, I planted late (april) & have only just got my fruits through, but there is plenty of time left, so don't panic! Hopefully a nice warm spell in the next 2 months will do us all good.
I have 4 pepper plants growing quite well, but no flowers yet. Again I planted late april. Can anyone guide me on how soon flowers may occur please? In addition, how big will the plants grow? It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Hmm, I thought I had sideshooted properly but will check again. the cherry ones are a bush variety so obviously haven't done those. I also know i need to take off the growing tip now as most are at the top of the greenhouse and have nowhere else to go. Does anyone have a pic of their tomatoe plants they could post so I should see how mine should be looking by now, i.e. sideshooted properly? Thanks guysOh and Sambucus I can't recall what the tomatoe feed is called, I shall have a look at the weekend and repost-I got it from wyevale and it has a red top ha ha
Suncherry? Indeterminate....AKA Vine tom.

Does it say on the packet they are a Determinate/Bush? They don't look like it.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -

How am I doing John?
I'm comfortably ahead of my mates at this stage. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
I think that's one of those rulers they use to show the space on show houses, ie half the size.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0

Yeah, I borrowed it from you after you'd measured your sunflowers. :whistle:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

My early one has topped out quite short, but with one huge flower and 5 smaller ones above it, looks quite amazing.
The 2nd challenge one is growing..... but it's still tinyFreedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
Both my varieties are about 7' tall. Some are flowering, but the giant ones just keep going. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0
