First decent carrots of the year for tea tonight:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0

I made my first harvest of the season this weekend-potatoes and one radish!
Other things are coming along well too-carrots look nearly ready, mange tout are ready (although I am worried about pea moth ) peas are nearly ready, tomatoes have quite a few fruits on them, lots of chillis and a few peppers are also growing well. I think my first attempt at growing is going quite well and will give me a good idea what I want to continue with in the future.0 -

They are growing about the size of Moneymaker or Alicante but are misshaped like a Beeksteak one. I've pulled 2 off and they were OK inside with no seeds so maybe I should wait and see. The proof of the pudding is in the eating as they say.0 -
Where do you buy seedless tomato seeds then? :huh:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0

These are not the ones I bought from but are the same seed but slightly dearer. Not the top one.

Sorry mate, it was announced by request. Wouldn't want anyone to miss it.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
I'm struggling with my chilli plant. It has flowers, but they are going brown and falling off. It's on a sunny windowsill next to a pepper plant that has - wait for it - 4 peppers growing! Any advice?? Don't ask for photos; I'm not clever enough to do that.0
