can I join in too? Ive been single for 2 years and its really getting me down. Would love to meet a lovely decent guy but sadly guys dont seem to go for bigger girls.
Ive tried many dating sites and either meet complete weirdos or never get my messages replied to so any advice I can get would be really apprechiated!
My social life is dwindling too as many of my friends dont want to go out and socialise which has left me in the position of resorting to doing my shopping in asda on a sat night! Helllllllp! lolTotal DebtWas £4145.81now £0.000 -

OK, what's he done/not done?My problem seems to be that I attract the totally wrong people - literally. I'm a gay girl, but seem to attract middle aged men
Middle aged men will go for anything that fogs a mirror, so don't worry about the attraction.
So says Z who is headed in that direction... :eek:or younger bi-curious straight women! And I'm too fussy. Arghh.
Better to be fussy that not fussy. But at least you're aware of it so you can at least aim for moderation."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Where did this thread spring from? You kept that quiet r.g and I thought we were buddies.....

I want to meet a man too this year.... I am actually going to look for something different and stay well away from the usual younger, bad boy type who invariably are a recipe for disaster, but fun while it lasts.....
Nice men don't have to be boring, I am sure and the stability that they provide far outweighs the let downs and hurt that the exes have all given in the past.
I too have joined a social group in my area. I was a member in 2009 but the events were all a bit samey and tended to be the same faces all the time. The club has now been taken over by a new lady and she has some really good ideas like trips to the races, pub quizzes and even a 2 day mini cruise to Amsterdam later in the year. Sounds good and I just might meet someone if the net is spread a bit wider.
I love the guys on this thread giving their input. it is always good to hear things from a male perspective. I don't know if anyone reads the "toxic" guy who answers an advice page in the NoftW magazine on Sundays but he is always interesting and puts the male point of view over really well. A learning experience.
Good luck everyone in the snog challenge...
