Waffle Maker £9.99 at Lidl from Monday 17/1

We didn't get one, but if it helps anyone my OH was in Lidl in Felixstowe last night and he said they had about 15 of them in a stack. Just in case it helps someone

I lived in Norway for 3 years and waffles were everywhere. Still use the machine I got from over there.

I recently bought a double one but not as good as my grotty old one.

I usually make a big bowl of mixture & leave in fridge for my teenage sons to make up for breakfast and after college. I put wholemeal flour and wheatgerm in my mixture instead of white flour to try and make it a bit heathier!

All measurements with cups, so easy:

3.5 cups flour (I do 3 cups wholemeal flour and 0.5 cup wheatgerm)
0.75 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 cup melted butter
enough milk to make thick batter
pinch salt.

Serve with jam, bananas & maple syrup, nutella, lemon & sugar, on their own, even good cold!

Anyone else tried the cheese waffles on P8? Something up with the ingredient quantities?

Does anyone know if there are still any of these left in Lidl? A friend of mine is after one.
