do you dust these with icing powder or add vanilla to the mix, ive never made waffles but think the only ones ive eaten were covered in icing sugar and sweet?***MSE...My.Special.Escape***0

Thanks for posting that recipe. I have a waffle maker and that looks easier than the recipe I have. I have some measuring cups that measure in Decilitres so it will be perfect.
Pinkcandyflossprincess we like ours with maple flavoured syrup on top. You can top waffles with all sorts of things, the same as pancakes really.0 -
I hope nobody minds me posting this link, but this recipe is the best one I've ever tried for waffles. They're really light and absolutely gorgeous. And if you make too many, stick them in the toaster for a minute later or the next day and they crisp up again beautifully.
I have this same waffle maker from Lidl and it's fantastic, every home should have one0 -
Currys are selling waffle makers for only £5.47 http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/logik-l1waf10-waffle-maker-black-stainless-03915052-pdt.html Available to reserve and collect only so it depends upon availability at your local store.
waffles taste great with marshmallow fluff on them http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=fluff+marshmallow&!!!!!yahhyd-21&index=grocery&hvadid=61496644531&ref=pd_sl_1y86c45e5y_e
