Real life MMD: Too late to claim for wedding cheque?

How odd that the friend didn't notice - or possibly they did and were so hacked off by your carelessness/lack of concern about presenting the cheque that they decided to ignore the situation. Unless it is a VERY close friend, leave it be...0

It'd suck if someone suddenly presented me with a 'bill' for £200 (although I tend to notice if £200 does or doesn't go out). I'd say no, it's too late.... it was a gift anyway so it's not like you can say they owe you. It's just hard luck - be more careful next time
