Actually I got a call from the customer care director personally. He complimented me on my letter and assured me a full investigation was under way. I received a letter within a week containing a full apology, recompense for my dry cleaning and a goodwill gesture in the form of vouchers. Perhaps letters you may have written in the past have been FAR TOO SHORT?

No - all the letters I have written have resulted in a positive conclusion0 -
He's an IT Project director - what do you expect.

He's better than most IT project managers I've ever had to deal with.
As evidenced by the fact that he was able to turn on his computer and type a letter!
(OP: This isn't meant to be anything personal, unless I've actually had to work with you in the past, which seems unlikely as you clearly have a sense of humour)0 -

Me too, when I started reading I thought oh oh here we go usual long drone but it gave me a smile (and at this time of the morning that is a miracle

I like the tone, it reminds me of the guy who runs 27bslash6.com (i.e. the guy who wrote those emails trying to pay for his overdraft with a drawing of a spider)0

I personally thought the letter was excellent, just the right amount of humour and sarcasm and so much better than a general rant, which tends to get one nowhere. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
If they said they had closed why did you pay
i left a station once without paying as the clever attendant decided she was going to ID me to buy petrol
i turned up in my golf stuck £30 walked into pay and she said i didnt look 16 i did look young at 17 and she would serve me
i gave her my name and address and said get the police to come and get it my mummy will be in to pay for it0 -
Did they come back for the money, or did you get a free tank?0
-
not the police came round that is exactly why i left my name and address and phone number and car reg
he told me to go into the petrol station and pay later on that night and he would go and tell the lady it was fine for me to be allowed to purchase petrol0 -
The attendant should have been charged with wasting Police time.0
