The one held by the VOA?
CIS, whatever you do, don't let on that the Valuation List doesn't exist!

Well, not in paper form anyway.

A summons is merely an invitation Lincroft..

I too would be happy to pay a nominal fee for those services mentioned, personally I dont like being robbed and thats whats happening.

    Tax Tax Tax

Keep paying if you want to, I have tried my upmost to help advise but it's clearly not accepted by most of you.

    Best wishes.

    P.S Never question authority
    Local Government Finance Act 1992.

I can't accept we don't have to pay it just because people claim we don't without providing proof. Because if you can prove I don't have to pay and will not be summonsed for non payment and even if I am summonsed, the summons will fail, then I'll cancel my DD tomorrow.

Of course if none of us pay, who will pay the teachers, police and fire service?

    I AM NOT ASLEEP
  • Reminds me a bit of the "How to avoid/evade the TV tax" thread - though that is a more hypothecated ("dedicated") tax, that I think provides value for money.

Bit odd you saying "don't question authority" when you appear to not question the chap with the blog.

The VOA produced the councils' copies as well as its own. However hard copies haven't been produced for some years, so Valuation Lists can only be accessed via computer.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

DO you work for the VOA Lincroft?

I was involved in NDR Appeals some time ago, We used to claw back staggering amounts of money sometimes that was in the 1995 list and also the 200 list.
